ROFL , nah, it's a Scandic theme from tiltbuster, I just modified statusb and various things in gx.ini , deck is vista from fozzy , but modified slightly, I used default PS font in that pic but in the meantime I changed fozzy's original and replaced T with 10, his font was much better than default one but T was the problem, also I like it more without black border around suites so I removed that too.

Glad to see that at least some parts of my old decks are still being used.

The neonesqueness was without consideration for anything really, except something to do. Obvilously it is too over the top. The thing I was interested in was the 'button depressed/released' concept for the statusb. [edit: I realize after making this post you were talking about the neonesque 'light strip', rather than my neonesque 'notes'. No, I don't think a bright statusb is bad. It is just that I didn't spend too much time on it - just wanted to post the idea. I could be bright of course. And the Stack $$ could be black text.]

I like the look of the table being the same level as the background. It is how I have my my own personal mod. For example:



This and the statusb idea are done very quickly, not as a final thing but just to present the idea.

have a problem with font size. Trying to make them bigger but I can not make it work for smallest table size.

Is there any chance you will release a TableNinja compatible version of that? My main gripe with Stars is the (in my opinion) stupid arrangement of the seats in two groups with 3 seats on each side and the bottom 20% of the table being wasted. So a mod resembling Full Tilt's approach with one bottom seat between chat box and action buttons would be awesome.

This is the set up I used to have on Full Tilt and it was ideal. Black background with bright yellow card backs to see who is in and clear 4-colour deck cards.

Extract the Simple folder to x:\Program Files\PokerStars\Gx\chips&deck\deck (overwrite and obviously back it up first).

I have got many requests about my theme. So I have decided to share it for free as is. It is existed for NL 9max and for default table size only. You have to download zip file and extract to ..\PokerStars\themes. Backup your current black theme before proceed. My theme includes free card decks that I have downloaded from this thread. Choose Simplified Deck to get card decks. The chips from sreenshot are not included because I bought them from tiltbuster. I have added default PS chips to the archive. Fully compatible with tableninja. Enjoy it.

I realise this is a somewhat ******ed question....but I'll ask anyway. Do you mean that this layout doesn't scale at all and the only table size that works is the table size you first get when you open your first ever table on PS?

Something else I have always wondered but never asked (and this thread seems appropriate). Is there any risk installing mods software from people/companies you don't know? I'm taking in terms of hidden rouge software that, idk, would send screen shots every second to a 3rd party allowing them to see your hole cards (for example). I know this is super paranoid, but surely it wouldn't be that hard for someone with good knowledge to do and how would malware, spyware, virus software know what it was and that it was bad (after all, poker is hardly a 'mainstream' activity). How could I mitigate against such risks (short of never installing anything other than super-trusted poker software like HEM/TN/etc)?

Yes there could be risks when installing any software or downloading files in general. malware and virus software often detect false problems with perfectly safe software and completely miss trojans packaged in malicious software.

Your best bet is to research the software/file provider and see what kind of feedback they are getting in related OPEN forums.

I can vouch that there have been many requests for it from the software improvement thread. So it's not like he just showed up spamming a free theme.

I'd feel comfortable downloading that zip file and scanning it - if it passes I wouldn't be too concerned.

But that is only my opinion. I have no direct knowledge.
