Could you set it up so that if want to run 12 tables it will default open regular tables (non monster) up to 12 but if say only 7 reg tables are running (overnite) it will then open 5 monster tables so can mine 12 tables?

I'd like to make a couple suggestions:

1) It appears Idleminer attempts to mine an equal number of tables per limit when multiple limits are selected. Would it be possible to have an option where we can prioritize by limit, meaning Idleminer attempts to mine as many tables at the first selected limit that fit the criteria before moving to the limit next on the list?

2) Would it be possible to mine different games simultaneously? Right now it looks like if you select holdem games you can't mine stud and vice versa.

If either of these would be too difficult to implement, perhaps you could program a way so that we can save and load different configurations of what games and limits we wish to mine?

I tried using your software the files seem to be written to the folder but PT is not able to read them am I doing something wrong?

It would be nice to filter table selection on (No DP) just like we can currently with monster tables. In other words I would like a setting so that I can only mine "no DP" tables or the opisite, mine only tables that are not "no DP".

Make sure that you are having idleminer put the files in the same place you are having Poker Tracker import them from.

The website has been moved and should be viewable by everyone now. Sometimes it takes a over a day but by now it should be good.

I sent this email early this morning and have had no reply. I have deleted the application in order to cure the problem:

"I like the software and will purchase it when it is ready and supports sites other than Party.

I have had a problem with the download request replicating. I got up in the middle of last night and probably had 30 requests to download. I had already done it for the "new patch".

It is acting very suspiciously. I ran a virus scan this morning which detected nothing.

However, I suggest that you check it out for a trojan or other problem."

I ran two virus scans and spybot and detected nothing, but I would like a reply of some sort.

Sorry for missing the email. We are in the middle of moving everything to a new server. To solve the download problem you need to delete the software from your HD and redownload.

I did place the files in the same folder I also tried manually through the import files on PT to import one of the files in the folder but got a message error from PT

The update code is rather disturbing. I couldn't figure out what was making my computer beep every 15 minutes or so until I just happened to be by the computer when the "there is an update, please click okay to download" popped up. The box would pop up, beep once, then disappear after a few seconds.

In addition, I didn't have IdleMiner open anywhere, which means to me that somewhere you have a program running keeping track of updates, even when the program itself is not open. Please let me know the name of that process as that sort of thing is pretty shady.

What happend to you was the screensaver was trying to run when there was an update available. When the program ran it wanted to download the update but you were not there to confirm that you would like to download the update. While we are in beta and there are frequent updates this might happen from time to time. After beta this should not be a problem.

Could you do us a favor and send one of the files you are trying to import to dev@pokergameplan.com We are not sure if this is a problem caused by us or pokertracker but we will look into it.

Does IdleMiner have any kind of newtork support?
Meaning, can I run it on multiple machines and it will not mine duplicate tables within the same limit?
08-23-2006 , 05:43 PM
Currently it does not. Right now we are focusing on making it as easy to use as possible for a single computer.

Every time I try to load IdleMiner it says that I need an update. Then I dl the update and the process repeats. Help?

To solve this problem you need to delete IdleMiner from your computer and redownload. Go to add/remove programs in the control panal and remove idleminer. Then go to the folder idleminer in the programs directory and delete the folder. After you do this it should be fine.

im a little bit confused. i left idle miner running while i was out for the last few hours, with the pt autoimport thing open (not the specific one for party, should i be using that one?) and it didn't import any hands, although idleminer shows that it did 4k hands or whatever.

i fired up the free hand grabber that i used to use and it started working. any idea what im doing wrong?
08-23-2006 , 09:52 PM
Double check to make sure that PokerTracker is importing the hands from the same place IdleMiner is saving them. If this is the case, could you send one the the hand history files you were trying to import to dev@idleminer.com

Tried to email this to support@idleminer.com, but the email failed (?).

Just downloaded and installed idleminer. It won't run. Here's all the info I can find:

* Running Win2KPro
* When I click START from the Idleminer window, it just closes, and the process is shut down (that is, disappears from Program Manager)
* It DOES show up as the screensaver, but never starts
* If I go to SERVICES, and try to start the Idleminer service manually, I get the following:

Error 193: %1 is not a valid Win32 application

The log is full of

StartService failed with error 193
Failed to spawn IdleMiner with error: 183

entries.

Help!

We think the service might not work with Win2k. We would appreciate it if you could email dev@idlemienr.com and we can work out this problem with you.

I tried to email from both my regular email and GMail, and I get an undeliverable when I try to email either support@idleminer.com or dev@idleminer.com.
