Am I crazy, or did Paul's comment invoke another round of slap fighting between Newt and Romney?

"Tuesday, NewtRomney was seen at an upscale restaurant in Washington D.C. beating himself about the face and head."

Ron Paul: Gingrich taking Freddie Mac money 'immoral'

Pretty amazing the article ignored that aspect. Watching CNN now and they're writing Paul out of this story too.

Ok, afte IQ it's time for "honesty rantings". Rate presidential contenders in order from the most honest to least honest. It doesn't matter how dumb they are it matters if they have "clean" intentions like doing what they say, not lying, not being corrupted etc. In absence of evidence the vibe counts too.
Here is mine:
1.Ron Paul
2.Rick Pery/Jon Huntsman
3.Mitt Romney
4.Rick Santorum
5.Michelle Bachmann
6.Herman Cain
7.Newt Gingrich

I have no reason to think top 3 aren't equally honest but RP get points for the vibe. Virtually nobody believes he might be corrupted.

i think Rick Santorum should be #2

romney at bottom with gingrich

RP
Santorum
Huntsman
Bachmann
Cain
Gingrich
Romney

I'd say Paul and Santorum have the strongest records for honesty. I don't think Bachmann or Huntsman have any real big issues on their record, but they've certainly done a little pandering or changing of attitudes. I think Romney has some serious questions, and is very reticent about speaking his mind. Perry is a lot worse than Romney, but he's done a better job of selling himself as an honest man in the campaign and debates than Romney. Cain and Gingrich are the worst of the lot, just outright crooks.

Frothy is like 95% a closet homosexual, so he can't be at the top of any list.

Bachmann seems pretty straightforward in her craziness, so I'd put her near the top.

I have a hard time believing RP can be such a hardcore creationist and religious man and still be a staunch libertarian. The basic ideas of Christianity conflict with libertarianism (the whole premise of following something written down by someone you've never met just because you are supposed to seems pretty non-libertarian in theory to me).

the video from Newt attacking Willard.

If a Democrat said Mitt should give back his money I doubt he'd get credit for a nice comeback.

I suck at sports betting. Does that mean if I bet $100 on the repubs, you get $140 if the dems win?
12-12-2011 , 03:41 PM
it means you can bet 100 on the repubs and when you win, you win 140. thats better odds by a good margin vs intrade or pinnaclesports, the two biggest markets right now
12-12-2011 , 03:43 PM
so basically you're offering 1.4:1 ?

what's max on your end?
12-12-2011 , 03:45 PM
yep im offering +140. no maximum

Ya, isn't that the filibuster party? Or is it the cockblocker party?

Blows my mind that Newt is leading the polls. No really. Newt ****ing Gingrich? The douchebag's douchebag? The guy who investigated Clinton while cheating on his wife? The only sitting speaker of the house to be santioned and fined for ethics violations? The guy who resigned in disgrace from the house? Somehow he is now qualified to be president? WTF
12-12-2011 , 03:51 PM
dangit that takes away my ability to offer $1 more than your maximum and say oh well maybe next time.
12-12-2011 , 03:51 PM
wait what's your minimum
12-12-2011 , 03:52 PM
I'll put $500 on the repubs as a hedge against pain.
12-12-2011 , 03:55 PM
