Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee? Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee?

O/U isn't odds, it's over/under where you ask whether the result is above or below the set figure.

So...I guess the o/u for this is 0.1, but it's really just not the right measure to use.

Yea, I wasn't disagreeing with you, I was just interested in what you were saying.

Is Powell still a registered R ?

Edit
Yea, I don't know why I typed O/U when I was clearly thinking odds.

One more thing about this settlement and then I'm pretty much done with this Cain topic. I was involved as the plaintiff last year and the year before in a lawsuit. The case was settled for as it turns out a five figure amount which I received. FWIW I am certain that the defendant, my adversary, did not believe that he did anything wrong and/or that I deserved any money yet he agreed to settle the case for a five figure amount and pay me. A settlement is not an admission of any wrong doing.

So why lie about it when questioned?

He's probably still within the margin or error of 0%.

34% Perry

Surprised Cain and Gingrich do so well relative to Romney.
Those markets are almost certainly too shallow to put much stock into those numbers. The market structure isn't well-suited to making these types of bets; there's probably a lot of volatility for that statistic...

If Cain's statement at the time the story broke was, "Yes, there were three settlements. I deny any wrongdoing as a part of them. Because of the terms, I am not going to comment any further on them," we wouldn't be having this conversation.

For anyone who didn't watch the debate tonight, Perry put a shotgun in the last chances of his own campaign and pulled the trigger.

Is princess Nancy an insult? What is it trying to play off? She isnt even the Speaker anymore.

Ron Paul's nomination contract has more than doubled because of CNBC debate and now stands at 7.5%.

Short now and buy when the next poll cycle happens and his fanbois realise his chances havent moved.

Perry self destructing wont help Paul. Cain self destructing won help Paul. Having a good debate performance (ive not seen it fwiw) wont help Paul.

good call.

You can stick a fork in Perry, he's done.

Even as someone who had no desire to vote for Perry...holy **** that was cringe-inducing and painful. I, for one, can't help but feel somewhat sorry for the guy. But I'm relieved that whatever chance that was left of him winning is dead.

Dear mainstream republican voters,

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

But seriously, 2012 is win-win for you, and if you're too miserable to understand it, see the previous sentence.

This. And that's also why I'm surprised this story picked up after Allred called for a press conference. The damage was done before Allred got involved.

Yeah, even a bold assertion along the lines of "I settled because, given the state of our legal system, it was far cheaper to settle than it would have been to prove my innocence in a court of law," would have ended things. I mean, I still care about this because of Cain's lies, not because of some feminist lawyer.

Is there any legit reason why the MSM keeps discussing Florida as a crucial swing state or a must-win for Big Barry and teh blacks? I hear it or see it so often that I wonder if it's just normal idiocy or I'm actually missing something. My rough recollection is that there's literally no path to victory for the GOP if they lose Florida but Obama can take it or leave it.
