Today someone told me Trump's core competency is extracting value from bankruptcies.

Guy's a lawyer that has been working with Trump on and off during such proceedings. Told me that 30 years ago, his partner (at law firm) had this conversation with Trump:

It's things like this that really make it clear and obvious that conservatives are the worst people on the planet. They will reflexively defend anything or anyone, no matter how terrible, just because liberals oppose them.

So it sounds like no one in the press really made an effort to discover her identity. If some rando on Facebook can figure it out, then I'm sure the folks at WaPo could have figured it out if they wanted to. I guess they didn't think it was that important.

Moreover, and I may be wrong on this, I have not seen any of the major news outlets actually publish her name after her identity had been discovered. The only ones that I saw that have reported it (so far) are outside of what I would call mainstream. I didn't spend that long combing every single one, but I checked several and didn't see it.
