Kids are still in cages, man.

I don’t know why it’s so hard for you to get that courts won’t save us. These guys are going to do whatever the **** they want until people with guns stop them.

The courts forced the reunification of all families. Last I saw the focus was on requiring the reunification of cases where a parent or child had been deported. The administration keeps making noises, but that is all.

The literally need to brainwash the with evangelicalism and amticommunism, but all they can do is villify Sweden. AOC creates 10 democratic socialists for every college republican convert.

What is with turning point honestly? The only people that bother me worse than trump on twitter are Candace and Charlie. Like it’s hard to believe they exist honestly, hurts me inside a bit .

Poll: Trump has little support for reelection bid

37% want him to be re-elected. Once you get in the heat of election season, it will probably move up to the mid 40s, but Democrats are gonna have to pick a bad candidate to screw this up.

Like I said, as best I can tell, their sole raison d'être appears to be to recruit new blood, or at the very least attempt to make the party look less like a nursing home cafeteria. Unfortunately they don't really have any ideas that will fire up millenials other racism and fear of browns & blacks so that's their angle. Somehow Candace Owens is able to sell bigotry as a black woman.

I dunno.

How far ahead was Clinton in 2016? Admittedly she was a bad candidate but still...

Hundreds of children still haven't been reunited with their families, and there are currently ~13,000 migrant children being held in detention facilities. That is a 500% increase since Trump took office, and as of early October the number was still growing.

Comments are brilliant

As bad as Hillary was, she still won the popular vote by 2.1%. Trump has converted absolutely 0 people to his side in the last 2 years and has only been bleeding support. Trump needs to find a way to eek a victory in the electoral college or hope for a black swan event to grow his popularity.
11-14-2018 , 02:15 PM
Have there been any (what we Brits call) electoral boundary changes that will skew the vote even more to the Repubs?

Neither of trump has converted 0 and has only bleeded support are true. R's gained in rural areas this year and lost suburban.

Trump could go to war to get support (hi iran)--worked every other time.
11-14-2018 , 02:26 PM
All out war on Iran would probably be a military disaster for the US. They'd have to time it right for it to be an electoral asset.

A lot depends on how many state houses the GOP controls following the 2020 election. Congressional district boundaries are redrawn following the decennial census, and in most states the lines are drawn by the government itself, as opposed to an independent body. The next census is in 2021, so any state with GOP government by then will see renewed gerrymandering based on the census population counts.

On top of that, the federal government is trying to rig the census by adding a citizenship question that is expected to depress response, which would make districts drawn using the census data to be underrepresentative of groups that are less inclined to answer the census (the groups are — surprise! — minorities).
11-14-2018 , 03:10 PM
The census is going to be a complete cluster****. Trump can't even close an umbrella.

I'm actually surprised that it hasn't happened yet. I figured we'd be in at least one new foreign war during Trump's term.
