Cricket run scores are in the hundreds, any scoring event is statistically meaningless.

Preaching to the choir. Ken Burns' baseball is one of the best documentaries ever produced.

Ya, golf.

Also I think hockey is worse to watch than baseball in the current day. Not because the excitement levels, because whoever is responsible for marketing hockey is an idiot and those of who are not Canadians cannot identify anyone on teams (unless you perhaps live in a hockey town).

Not live. Hockey is by far the best live sport to watch.

playoff hockey is pretty fun tho. also going to hockey games.

regular season you’re right tho.
10-28-2018 , 02:06 PM
been to a couple hockey games, each time i was counting down the seconds on the clock by the end of the game because i couldn't wait to leave

with that said, at least they fight in hockey, so there's always some implied value with a rinkside seat

Baseball practice is more fun than playing.

If you have a rooting interest, a close baseball game - especially an important game - is extremely exciting. I'm a Brewers fan and I was on the edge of my seat in between every pitch in the playoffs. And that's when nothing is happening. It's one of those sports where the build-up to the action is nerve-wracking.

qft. few things approach it in sports.

Trump doesn't watch sports. Someone who's that narcissistic wouldn't be able to handle the attention not being on them for even 5 minutes.

I suspect Kavanaugh called him late night in a drunken rant cause he blew a few thousand betting on the Dodgers. Then Trump told one of the aides to write him a baseball tweet

Lol at the reporter asking Dave Roberts his thoughts on it though.

baseball legit the worst. i pretty much love all sports. i've watched sports i dont know the rules to on insomniac nights at 3am. i watched every bit of the curling shown during the olympics..

baseball still is legit the worst to watch. going to a game can be a decent experience but it is entirely unwatchable on tv.
10-28-2018 , 05:51 PM
Trump used to sit in the front row near the Yankee dugout with Rudy and Billy Crystal back in the late 90's when the Yankees were winning the WS every year.

i agree watching any sport is way more boring than playing poker. but yeah baseball is a laid-back experience. like i'll have a baseball game on while surfing the internet or playing a videogame, and you just gotta look up at the screen for a few seconds when you hear the announcer say "and here's the pitch"

soccer is nonstop action, they don't even stop the clock except once at half time. an american football game can go on for 4 hours, 2 of which will be commercials.
