The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

This seems to be more than yard signs.

@DVaut: I trust your history of the deplorables. I'm still gonna turn out, and I got some last minute donations to dole out, just not feeling great about November.

@Simp: The tweeted part is the worst part. The "Lean D" rating has already factored in the environment. You can't treat Lean D like seats that are in the bag. Some will go the other way, and because voting outcomes are correlated, it's very possible that even a majority of the "Lean D" but not "Likely D" seats go to the Republicans.

Again, this is what models are for. You're not going to have a solid analysis just by looking at a bunch of races as isolated units and determining that Dems are favored in more units than Rs, therefore they will win a majority.

SOROS

(Seriously, that's just it. Dude must be a ****ing quadrillionaire.)

No big deal, just the president tweeting out baseless conspiracy theories again. We are going to see if Trump's quite bold base-only strategy will work. I'm guessing there is a reason it's never been a thing.

In better news, another good dem ad.

Tbh his trolls are just funny now.

Kavanaugh was "proven innocent" by being confirmed to SCOTUS.

Protesters really aren't being paid because (((Soros))) was too *cheap* to pay out, if you catch my meaning.

He's basically doing Falcon posts.

So the WSJ is cooking up (((Soros))) conspiracies now.

Pretty sure this is his first "apology" since the Access Hollywood tapes

Trump-era protests, Kavanaugh drama show we need less democracy

This is an op-ed from today in the country's most widely circulated newspaper. I'm sure everything will be fine after the lol midterms.

I think people are reading way too much into those two polls that came out last week.
10-09-2018 , 09:53 AM
Not sure if encouraged or extremely saddened by the Taylor Swift voter reg news. How the **** have you not been paying attention until exactly the moment Taylor Swift tweets about it? And how have people STILL not registered to vote with these deadlines looming? This ****ing voter pool man

I don't think polls were the big story last week. There was that other thing, in the Senate. It made me a wee bit skeptical that Trump will ever be removed from office, that "world's greatest deliberative body" gives a **** about public sentiment, or that we will be able to rely on the judicial branch to remedy gross political malfeasance in the future.

The amazon reviews of the book the writer of this op-ed has out now are something.

The "American Taliban" has set out to destroy our country. James Robbins is not content to sit by and let that happen. The desecration of American monuments and American history should be enough to alert all thinking and dedicated Americans (of all races and places of origins) to the dangers of cultural destruction. Sadly, the left's horrific attack on American history has not alerted enough Americans. Robbins book, Erasing America, is a wake-up call.

From the destruction of our statues, the kneeling of our football players, the rise of endless antagonistic and demanding "groups", and the vacuum of civics and history in our classrooms, we are reminded that there is a hugely damaging undertow at work and that we need to recognize the central theme and respond before it is too late.
Quote:
Robbins covers every major topic on this guerilla war against history, patriotism and art itself, the war on “Dixie”, Dead White Men (and women ) even, incredibly Lincoln himself and strong Unionist such at Stephen Foster! He also writes about the “absurd” elimination of traditional holidays by the fiat of bureaucrats. So Christmas vacation becomes Winter Vacation, Easter vacation, Spring break. St. Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day. It is only a matter of time I suppose when St. Patrick’s Day becomes Oppressive Misogynist Roman/British Imperialist day.

Taking the House is critical to stopping the deplorable agenda. Do whatever you have to do to keep your spirits up for the next four weeks.

I don't know. Maybe its just another example that semi-rational people can only work for so long for this psycho nutjob of a president.
