Yes I am pissed off and jealous of those of you who have escaped.
Really wish we had Carl's Jr on the east coast.

Travelling and living are two different things. As a tourist, you only see the good stuff. Living in a place allows you to become more intimate with the culture and after a while the negatives appear.

That said, I'm happy to have left America.

Definitely agree w/ Wichita. The good places to live in the US are where there are lots of immigrants, but even then it is a watered down version. Culturally, white America has very little to offer besides microwavable food, black friday and the same fast food drive thru every 2 miles.

I read in USA Today that Oklahoma has Carls Jr AND Hardees. Makes me jelly, lol.

And indeed, US is a great country to visit as a tourist. It's a terrible place to live at unless you don't give a **** about anyone else.

I think it depends how you travel. When I travel I don't just do the tourist trap BS. My goal is to eat/drink/meet as many local and real life experiences in those place as I can. I have had many conversations with locals over a beer in many places and to a man over the last 3 years they want to talk about what a joke America has become and what the hell is going on. Even the people who tell me Thailand is hell or Scotland is oppressed by England or whatever.

Yes places have bad aspects. I just got back from Thailand. A country that had a military coup not 5 years ago. Has a king that it is illegal to say bad things against. That being said it isn't completely owned by the top .01%. The politicians aren't owned by them either and in many ways it is a much more honest existence than here even though it isn't perfect. There is at least a chance for that society to evolve to a point where it is better. Here is just a slow slide into the abyss based on the system that has been set up by the rich, the politicians and the SC.

This country is ****ed for 2 reasons. We have a lot of racist morons and we have a top 500 people out of 400 million who know how to exploit them. Everyone else is left to suffer in a place that doesn't represent what we want or believe.

This is giving him too much credit. If Johnny Mustache tells him he has to bomb Iran, he's bombing Iran.

What is the weather like there? My hair is awful if it's too humid.

faq. im told iran is absolutely full of young people due to some repopulation policy put into effect after everyone died in the iran/iraq war, that none of them have any time for the bearded weirdos running the show and that they all wanna live in california. if we could just wait 30 years the problem might sort itself out

such a great propaganda coup for the iranian leadership. they can believably tell their youth 'see, we told u, the yanks really are untrustworthy'

I’m pretty sure Carl’s Jr. and Hardees are the exact same restaurant chain only the name is pronounced differently due to regional dialects.

It actually isn't that humid compared to the South or some other MW locations. It is just either hot, cold or nice but windy. Then there are tornados and now the fracking earthquakes. In short don't come lol.

I'm not sure it qualifies as propaganda. It is pretty much accurate at this point.

I am glad that Carl Sr. isn't around to hear this kind of nonsense.

You might benefit from this Fox News article on Things you didn’t know about Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr.

Concerning Putin‘s motivation: German CEOs are already calling for the German government to give a joint statement together with Russia, China, France and the UK that they will stick to the deal and Act in coordination concerning Iran.
If that happens, the US will be as isolated and weak internationally as they haven‘t been since - I guess before the Spanish-American war.
05-08-2018 , 03:15 PM
So when do we get the backtracking saying it will stay in place until his megaelite dealmaking squad negotiates a new one?

tell the german CEOs that BOIDS from The Internet is prepared to stand with them

Chieplanet concerns about the Iran deal:

1. Gas prices
2. Trashing Obama’s legacy

...

493. Millions of dead Iranians

That's more or less why the deal got done in the first place: Euros wanted to get in on trading with Iran, as China and Russia already were doing. The sanctions were collapsing regardless of if a deal got done or not.

I’ve never walked out of a Carl’s Junior w/o mild nausea and profound regret.

I will eat me a Hardee’s sourdough burger though.
