The reconciliation bill itself doesn't consider Cruz's thing insurance.

Journalists aren't the worst thing Putin has done from what I've seen. How about blowing up 300 innocent people at a time in an apartment building, sending a team of top loyal KGB agents in to clean it up within hours, then blaming foreign terrorists for it and initiating a war with them instead?

Meh. The time to criticize guys like Graham is not on the rare occasion when one of them unequivocally criticizes Trump.

As much as it pains me to say it, it's probably better for the country if GOP members of Congress are praised lavishly whenever they go hard at Trump. It won't change my opinion that most all of them are fundamentally spineless, but like I said, it's probably better for the country to encourage them.

They haven't confirmed yet. It's only an invitation so far. EDIT: Or is my pony slow on this?

Jared is confirmed for Monday, but it's private of course because, God forbid we hear him speak.

Manafort Was in Debt to Pro-Russia Interests, Cyprus Records Show
Financial records filed last year in the secretive tax haven of Cyprus, where Paul J. Manafort kept bank accounts during his years working in Ukraine and investing with a Russian oligarch, indicate that he had been in debt to pro-Russia interests by as much as $17 million before he joined Donald J. Trump’s presidential campaign in March 2016.

Manafort is the guy, IMO. It's always about the money.
07-19-2017 , 07:20 PM
If Manafort testifies, he is a stone lock to lie if the situation requires it and he thinks he can get away with it.

And yet Manafort was willing to work for Trump for free while owing Russians $17M. Stand up guy imo. (Can hear Maddow's staff tearing up the script for tonight's show all the way from here.)

Took me a bit to realize Trump is lower left. There's someone across from Putin making Trumpian hand gestures.

You, me, blowie, lesco! Apparently Steve Colbert was being literal.

In Interview, Trump Expresses Anger at Sessions and Comey, and Warns Mueller

WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Wednesday that he never would have appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions had he known Mr. Sessions would recuse himself from overseeing the Russia investigation that has dogged his presidency, calling the decision “very unfair to the president.”

This is correct. 32M is straight repeal by 2020 and 18M by next year.

Not sure about the most recent version of the Senate bill, though it should be in the same 20-25 mill range.

Describing a newly disclosed informal conversation he had with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia during a dinner of world leaders in Germany earlier this month, Mr. Trump said they talked for about 15 minutes, mostly about “pleasantries.” But Mr. Trump did say that they talked “about adoptions.” Mr. Putin banned American adoptions of Russian children in 2012 after the United States enacted sanctions on Russians accused of human rights abuses, an issue that remains a sore point in relations with Moscow.

Mr. Trump acknowledged that it was “interesting” that adoptions came up since his son, Donald Trump Jr., said that was the topic of a meeting he had with several Russians with ties to the Kremlin during last year’s campaign. Even though emails show that the session had been set up to pass along incriminating information about Hillary Clinton

The numbers seem oddly coincidental between this story ($17 million in debt) and this recent news (Manafort was paid $17 million for his work with pro-Russian interests in Ukraine from 2012-13). idk what the connection might even be, but kinda random to keep seeing $17 million pop up.
