Weird. How is some people not being able to enter your country a national/international crisis? Why is everyone so upset? Why are people on the streets?

Where have those people been all these years when mothers, fathers and children where literally murdered, bombed, obliterated by your oh so great free country with it's great moral values? I didn't see anyone occupying airports or protesting in front of military bases. I didn't see all of you guys panicking about the downfall of your nation because your military ****ing kills people day by day.

So stop whining about some people not being able to enter you country. They are alive, they are not murdered, they are not tortured.
Your great nation has been like this for decades. Lying, betraying, manipulating, torturing and mudering all around the world. And now with Trump all this crap comes back at you and you begin to realize that the USA might not be so great after all.

so the US did bad stuff and there wasn't widespread protest, so we shouldn't bother getting it right now? better to start now than never.

Seems like a bad mistake by Uber not even considering morality and stuff.

I think the stay is as applied to the one Iraqi Refugee they sued on behalf of, at least that's the way it is being reported now. Need to find the text of the decision when its posted.

Nevermind: The executive order is frozen per msnbc, People can't be sent back to their countries but it doesn't necessarily release them from detention. Thank god for the judicial system, the only branch still standing in the way of complete fascism.

it's a stay based on the whole class according to twitter, which would be a nationwide injunction

I saw an explanation elsewhere on the internets that said they didn't want to look like they were profiting off the protests, I'm not totally sure if turning off surge pricing (if people are stranded w/ no cabs, they'd probably be willing to pay for surge with little other choice) is a super bad guy move or anything.
