Babies are sneaky.

plus my family wouldn't sneak back into my house by throwing a brick through the living room window like my last incident.

And they are actually worth every penny! Even for a 29 year old poker player.

It's more likely you will be killed by your shower or bathtub than a home invader.

The house will be sold here in about a year and i'll be taking the extra $$$ and buy a house in an area where I wont even need a gun.

Right...so sir I'd like to ask what do you do in this situation....

You at home sleeping your wife and kids as well, your get up to go to the bathroom at 2am. Upon walking into the living room you hear noises like someone is fiddling with your lock at the same time you notice someones face is pressed against your bay window peering in...and a car is running on the street in the background...

Proceed sir.....

Turn on the lights and call the cops?

What does what would you do in this situation have to do with what you quoted?

The question was directed to PHILL who loves these little stats that apparently mean having a gun in the home is not necessary.

I really am curious about this. When you imagine yourself confronted by scary assailants in the dark of night, which would you say is the predominant emotion?

a) Irrational fear of a very unlikely event

or

b) Fantasies of being a Hollywood action hero

I know both emotions are at play, but in the interest of better knowing you personally as an individual, I would like to learn which of the two weighs most heavily.

I think if you're wyatt earp it's ok to open carry. Other than that..
01-27-2014 , 04:02 AM
There doesn't seem to be any reason for me not to have it concealed. I don't want everyone knowing I have a firearm, so I keep it legally concealed. That said, I have no problem with others who want to open carry, I just don't see the point.

I honestly don't get why people get crazy when I point a gun at them. Can someone help?

Fact is I was in this actuall situation....I live in the woods around 20 minutes from town. I grabbed my 12ga and racked it right at the door and shouted that they will get shot if they didnt leave now...I heard them scurrying and the car doors shut and speed off. I stepped out to get some discription of the car to no avail...

Not a hollywood movie, lol and I know that is your liberal pussys go to, along with highly irrelevant blanketed stats.

Hope you never have to deal with such situation and glad you find a man protecting his family so funny...

so you're saying that you didn't actually need the gun?
01-27-2014 , 03:41 PM
Incase you really cared, Id basically do what zikzak said and turn on the lights, shout I am calling the cops and then call the cops whilst barricading myself and family in a bedroom.

Which is exactly what you should have done even if you have a gun. Anything else is the sucker move.
