My girlfriend just asked me an interesting question that I thought would make a fun thread (we'll see). You have a randomly picked American behind a screen you cant tell if it is a man or woman or where they are from etc. and you can ask them one question to determine if they are a republican or a democrat (or other) what question would you ask and how accurate do you think you would be at guessing? Obviously you can't ask are you republican or democrat, or who did you vote for, thanks low key.

alternative questions that wouldn't give as accurate an answer:

Were your parents republicans or democrats
How often do you attend religious gatherings
What is your educational background
What is your race
What is your income

iirc, this list is in order of more accurate to less accurate

give me like three questions and I think I could be up to about 95% accurate

My answer was "are you pro life or pro choice?" and I thought I would be about 75% accurate my girlfriend went for "do you support gay marriage."
