I hope nobody had "overhead projector" or "steady hand at tiller" in their drinking game!
10-07-2008 , 10:34 PM
Well, only John King thinks Obama lost, and even he has Obama with more positives.

Women liked it when they gave their personal stories, men liked it when they answered questions.

If he dropped the mic and said... "McCain Out!" I would have lost my ****

LOL, Brokaw got the last 'my friend' in
10-07-2008 , 10:35 PM
also, I would like Tom Brokaw to never be a moderator of anything again

McCain fails to change the game. Obama wins on McCains turf, and the last debate will likely be Obama's best. Election over.

So tonight we learned from McCain:

-The gov should renegotiate loans to which it is not a party.
-We're his friends.
-He still thinks we can freeze spending.
-He's running on a platform of hope and change.
10-07-2008 , 10:36 PM
lol that one black dude is gonna put that pic on his myspace lol
10-07-2008 , 10:36 PM
Fail/fail.

This format has to change.

That has to be even with conservatives because if McCain's proposal to BUY EVERY HOMEOWNER'S BAD MORTGAGE doesn't piss off the Freepers I don't know what will
Except for this crazy McCain proposal. McCain bodyslammed Obama in this debate.

So tonight we learned from Obama:

-We will invade countries that don't help us against terrorists.
-It will only cost us 150 billion to be energy independent.
-Health care is a right.
-There is nothing Obama doesn't know.
10-07-2008 , 10:37 PM
Solid finishing remarks for McCain which were well received.

I felt Obama did much better in this format than expected - the CNN lines indicated that the undecided panel felt he was stronger across the board. McCain got one clear win on the Russian question, but fared worse overall.

Bias colors one's opinions obv - and I am in the tank for Obama so to speak. But even if you think McCain won and you are a McCain supporter - I would be surprised if you think this will be enough to swing the poor poll numbers back in your favor.

Obama wins.

BBC America +

BBC likes Brokaw! Guests might feel ignored.

Fox +

Brit H: I didn't hear any memorable moments

CNN +

The rules of the moderator were not followed. Obama's spokeswoman says Obama won.

First glance from these 3 say Brokaw won

Prop bet on post-debate polling? I know I'm not getting any money out of this, but how about my McCain '08 avvy vs your Obama '08?

Yeah, I always liked him but he should have stayed retired. God I miss Tim Russert.
