Well, yeah, she'd need to go through this part of the story, too. I just don't think James and Sirius would be all that interesting on their own. A bunch of teenage kids being ass clowns doesn't strike me as very interesting.

Seriously tho, I am a geek

Edit: Well, the first book did come out when I was 16, I guess it's not that bad.

Yeah, I do the same thing, with Potter and other books. I annoyed myself into re-reading the entire Dark Tower series by Stephen King simply because I couldn't remember the order of a couple of events.
