I think he would be more useful as the general protectorate of all this status quo imo.

We have other plans for ikes. Also, poison is known to not affect moderates.

For now, ikes will be tasked with defusing a bunch of diabolical booby traps I have developed for no reason.

tuq,

The whole purpose was to mimic the electoral process. Therefor, it was rigged every step of the way.

Hope that clears up your confusion,

Borodog

First satisfactory explanation yet. In that case, well played.

A fine mix of Boss Tweed, Richard Daly and Frank Rizzo. The very worst of American electioneering all wrapped up in one nightmare. Shame on all.

Political significance

In societies where the Freedom of Speech was not recognized as a right, the court jester - precisely because anything he said was by definition "a jest" and "the uttering of a fool" - could speak frankly on controversial issues in a way in which anyone else would have been severely punished for, and monarchs understood the usefulness of having such a person at their side. Still, even the jester was not entirely immune from punishment, and he needed to walk a thin line and exercise careful judgment in how far he might go - which required him to be far from a "fool" in the modern sense.

The position of the Joker playing card, as a wild card which has no fixed place in the hierarchy of King, Queen, Knave etc. might be a remnant of this position of the court jester.
So, I'll play this joker/jester as an Ace or, more precisely, a bullet. You might want to duck if you hear a loud noise. It won't be a woopee cushion. What is the Order of Succession around here anyway?

No one could mimic that level of incompetence and unintended consequences on purpose. A pox on all involved.

Borodog and Nielsio

1. Nielsio for pure wackiness of his ideas and the blinders he wears which leaves him unable to see how others view his crazy ideas. Also his relentless posts that seeks to persuade by QUANTITY versus quality. If he would only make 5 posts per week as opposed to a 100.....he would be less annoying.

2. Borodog
If Borodog met someone who agreed with him 99.9% of the time....he would find that 0.1% where there disagreed with him and insult the guy for being an idiot.

Let me say this whole process is silly. With the arbitrary selection of a supreme court the results are tainted. Who ever has the power to appoint the judges has already tainted the results with his biases.

As awesome as Felix can be - especially when it comes to discussing women - he reads in threaded mode and as such all of his opinions are invalidated.

All,

This worked out to be a surprisingly entertaining contest. Congrats to pvn.

I have another contest in mind for next month that will continue this forum politicking for fun and profit.

I, The 13th 4postle,

Do Hereby Declare; PVN, The King of the Common Wealth of the Politics Forum and of the Politards, Anarcho-Capitalists, Democrats, Republicans and Other Trolls

May his reign be as long as Jman's rule, as funny as AllTheCookies, as wise as El Diablo, and as Fair as Iron81.

So Let It Be Written, So Let It Be Done

God Bless The King!

Re: King of the Politards: Finals: PVN/Borodog Vs. Nielsio/Vhawk1

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemies eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing:
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"

One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt, and pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can not explain
Once you know there was never, never an honest word
That was when I ruled the world
(Ohhh)

It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in.
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People could not believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries Wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can not explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the world
(Ohhhhh Ohhh Ohhh)

Hear Jerusalem bells are ringings
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can not explain
I know Saint Peter will call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh
