I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you understand - especially given everything that's been gong on as of late - what makes a graphic like this deliberately misleading, and that your dislike of my posting is motivating you here.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the graphic, nobody on planet earth thinks there's equal number of black, white, and asian people in the USA. Even the dumbest person on earth would not be misled. But you're correct that it was your terrible posting (look at your first post ffs) about the graphic that inspired me to say something.

Suzzer,

Another big spread in the LA Times today about Purdue and Oxy. Things like them knowing about clinics set up by drug rings, selling them millions of dollars of oxy, talking about whether or not they should tell the DEA, and saying: "nah, this is going pretty well."

People ITT bamboozled by the notion that figures don't lie but liars can figure. This graphic, even absent the description/editorial, suggests white men are the real victims of police killings. If you think graphics used blatantly for this purpose aren't terrible by nature, then lol you.

Best thing you can say about that graphic is that the numbers are (presumably) accurate. Pretty useless without additional context.

let's compare white & black population in the US:
84.2% white vs 15.8% black

now police shootings:
66% white victims vs 33% black victims

I know everyone here already gets why the graph is lacking context and using statistics to lie, I'm just not sure why everyone is pretending to be a moron and miss this important point that is left out
