It makes no sense that he could possibly think anyone even halfway sane thought that he thought that the kid is a tweeker. That he apparently had such a thought that others had such a thought and had a thought that those thinking those thoughts were thinking clearly is a clear demonstration of trauma.

I don't think you're being at all racist here, FWIW, but maybe 14 y/o Muslims get a slightly different education on how to deal with authorities given the current paranoid political climate. My daughter is about to start driving and I've told her to politely refuse all police searches, so it isn't a stretch at all to think that Muslim Americans might have similar, but more in-depth, talks with their kids.

Refusal to cooperate is not indicative of anything. A kid who sees the authorities freaking out when he did nothing wrong should absolutely not cooperate. Maybe he's just really smart.

As for the family not wanting to release the transcripts: they are smart too. No way I'd let Breitbart twist his words. We've seen what they do to people.
