tzompu, yes, the timing is interesting and to a serious student of the rockefeller's et al. one might surmise there is something to consider regarding your point. However, it's very similar to the situation we had with our previous Governor Ryan. He was a corrupt politician, too but managed to garner favor (and a Nobel Peace Prize nomination) in his last days of office by declaring a moratorium on death row inmates. So, yeah, Blago managed to score some points in what will be his last days as Governor. But he's still corrupt as hell and deserves to go to prison. No conspiracy about that.
