Thought the poll showing romney up 2-1 on economic issues, but Obama being more likable was really telling (and notsogreat for obama)

When the gov comes and takes 1/2 of everything how does that help them in any economy?
Plz show work. I'm sure you're including your mortgage interest and every other deduction in that "half of everything" figure right? Keep in mind the top marginal tax rate in this country is 28% up to $178k and 33% from 178k to 388k.

Furthermore, why does it not bother you that Mitt Romney's of the world have made the laws such that while they're taking "half" from you, he only pays 15%? Bully for him for being powerful enough to rig the system against guys like you? Now that's a campaign premise I can get behind.

poll question is asked in different ways dude. you're going to get very different answers in break downs.

You're not going to find obama liked 2-1 either.

Yet oddly it said that people favored Obama on issues that mattered to them. Go figure.

Also, being likable does matter. Did you forget 2004?

Every time I forget how good Obama's campaign is they remind me all over again. Honestly I think Romney would probably be better for the country (Moderate in conservative clothes yo)... But Obama is a much better candidate and the Obama campaign makes few mistakes. Their organizational advantage is lol huge. Also it's easy to overstate the value of money in this election, not because it doesn't matter, but because all of the available ad space is already bought in the states that matter.

At this point I blame the people who are responding to rara for keeping him going.

Rara - no bet with me? Guess you don't actually believe what you say.

no mortgage, the 1/2 of everything is death tax, 15% is on investment (that's the same I pay on my investment after I already paid 31% [as an average] on income earned). He didn't make the rules. He's just using them like anyone would that could take advantage of them. I wish there was a flat tax on all $ earned/made, remove all deduction. 17% would be a good starting point.

Kerry was way way more experienced than Romney is.

He was the perfect president wrapped up in the skin of the most boring person ever. Like how does someone be so ****ing awesome and come off so boring?

It's OK. Romney's governorship just isn't a great part of his resume. Abysmal record and his signature accomplishment he can't even brag about.

I don't care who si better romney or kerry because they're secretly the same person.

Ah ok death tax.

Maybe Mitt didn't make them directly but his club did. You want to elect a guy who already raided the chicken coop so he can make it easier for him and his buddies to do next time. Why this bothers you none I will never really understand (other than the obvious emotional blind rage deflected to the poors).

Flat tax is so insanely regressive.
