yup, I already locked it in at +6.5 @ -122 or so

The Pats defense is overrated, plus Mayo got hurt

Really like StL +10. Not so much in favor of the Rams, but Wash should not be laying double digit points to anyone, even at home. GL to all.

Good prediction, it's already down to 3.5. If you got 5+ good for you but if it gets down to 3 I'll probably roll with the Pats.

Can the Pit-Chi game move or is that pretty much locked at 3? I'd like to take the Bears if I can get a hook there.

I know Urlacher hasn't produced recently, not shedding many blocks. And now is out for the reason. Cutler has a pretty strong defense to go up against even with out Troy Polamalu. The bears d-line is pretty good, o-line needs some work. I think it's going to be a close game.

It's going to be a defense battle, which makes me think the under. Lot's or short passes, a couple long runs. Mostly just smash mouth football, nothing like a west coast shoot out. And the Steelers do travel very well, and if Cutler makes a few errors, the Steelers crowd will be making a lot of noise.

Preseason I saw this game being around -6 Steelers and that was with the bears winning there first game. I'm just happy to see my #1 favorite team(first time) vs my other favorite team.

I can be jaded, Forte could break free a few times with a monster missing (troy) and that's all they might need.

I do not bet sports much, but I will be in Vegas this weekend. Thinking of hammering the Colts. They did a decent job against the run in week one and Miami's offensive line is in a world of hurt.

Anyone else care to weigh in on this game? It is going to be very hot - highs near 90 in south Florida.

Wow, right now 12 of the games are within 1 point of wong teaser range. Could be a very intense weekend.

you will not get the hook there sorry. no way. This is a very high variance game IMO where a lot of crazy things could happen with defenses dominating. I would say if you like CHI just bet the ML as even +3 will be a little pricy. Had Urlacher not been hurt this would have been a good spot for the bears but he is one of those guys, like Haynesworth, whose absent is really reflected in game scores.

It might turn out that the Jags are a horrible team, which I why I would say don't pull the trigger on the colts. Mia had 4 turnovers in their loss which makes it look worse than it really was. I was really hoping for a line like colts -4.5 so I could hammer the fish. If people are chasing after a lot of upsets that could still happen so I will wait for that line to move. A lot of this has to do with my read on Jax going into the season, that they could be terrible. I would also guess that there are a lot of trends going against the colts, otherwise the line would be higher but I have not looked into that yet. Bottom line is I can't imagine any "sharp" sportsbettors going with the colts. I certainly won't. I am betting the fish with 4 or more points.

NYJ +5 (vs NE). Take away the records and brand names and tell me that the team who lucked out against Buffalo last night should be a 5 point favorite against one of the top 3 looking team on opening day.
I definitely think you are better off ignoring the last 3 years and only considering this past week

TBH, the +5 on the Jets looked about right. I know it's +3.5 now, but the 4 and the 5 are meh anyways.

Your definition of big is very liberal. The push rate on 4 is decidedly average compared to the set of all other whole numbers.
