I'm surprised Cincy has been picked so much already.
I guess Week 2 vs Hou, week 4 @ cle and week 5 vs buf.

Argument to hold them until week 12 vs CLE or 14 vs CHI, but as such strong faves and not that heavily picked it's tough to pass on them.

Don't usually pick this early, but going to be busy all week and don't want to think about it. Fading/saving Cincy.

64 left - Minny
9 left - NO (everyone has Cincy available, 5 Minn left, 1 Philly left, 1 NO used)

Went Cinci in my 5 handed pool, spread my picks out for the starting week 7 pool.

I don't love Cinci but they should win. Kinda wanted to take KC and hope that the Colts or Browns get upsets this week (I expect them to both be picked by other entrants plus maybe some NO and NE and KC)

On the plus side I have all of the options available in week 12 out of the non-Cinci teams and anyone who doesnt take them this week will take them in 12.

11 is the toughest week, i'm, probably going to wind up on Jax or KC that week. Everything else seems fairly straightforward, Hou in 9, Det in 10, Atl/NE in 12, Oak/LAC in 13, Denver in 14 if they don't go on a slump, NO in 15, KC or NE in 16 and Pit in 17 then my pool re adds 1 pick of all teams to the entrants for finals so i'll have a couple double ups of whatever strong teams I don't use.

So started with over 1000 in my pool and were down to 200. Week 10 is double pick week. Everybody left still has vikings, saints and bengals to use. 100 people still have Philly. Should I ride with eagles this week or avoid all chalk and go Baltimore?

All my pools have less than 8% of the field left. That’s what’s he’s referring to. Does your pool have rebuys?

yea sorry rebuys were allowed up until week 6. I guess eagles are gonna be my play this week, only other spot I really like them is 12 but Ill have pats and chiefs available for me that week to use.

ok so I talked myself out of the eagles and am taking the falcons. No one took ravens Thursday night which surprised me so Im pretty sure everyone is gonna be on a combo of Philly, Cincy, minny and NO so I want to fade them all. Falcons don't have much future value and I can save Philly for next week and avoid being on texans like everyone else.

1 Atlanta & 2 Minnesota in non rebuy pools that started in Week 1. Minnesota in the pools that double picks in 11.

Currently looking at 3 Minnesota, 3 Cincinnati & 2 Minnesota in rebuy pools that started in Week 1. Rebuy period is over. Double picks in 10. Single picks rest of the weeks.

Midseason pool that started in 7. 1 Minnesota. 1 New Orleans

Midseason pool that starts in 8. 2 Philadelphia. 1 Minnesota. Double picks in 11-15. Triple in 16 & 17. Lots of people.

Go 49ers this week!

Just as the first game was about to start I suddenly felt like I made a mistake picking the Bengals and wished I had Vikings. Worked out but only just.

Lucky to survive, my first pool still 5 handed of 72, the midseason one mostly untouched. On the 5 handed one it was 2x Bengals (incl me), 2x Vikings and 1x Pats

I'm almost certainly taking Houston this week even though 4/5 of the players in the pool are eligible to take them I assume only we'll get an average of about 3 picks including mine on them - just no other teams anywhere close to their pure EV

On the midseason pool i'll go mostly Texans, possibly all in or might throw one entry on Jax or Rams or someone as I expect about 50% of entries on the Texans.

NO blood this week---

Going to get fun when people who made sure they survived over first 8 weeks at the cost of FV have to figure out how to navigate the rest of it. LFG.

I like my spot as I have HOU available, them being the biggest fave week 8.
Usage:
19/181 week 1
1/109 week 4
9/36 week 6

18 left week through 8 weeks

Going all-in on Houston this week on all my pools, I know they'll be the most popular pick but going with them anyway.

Saving Houston for later with my double pick format, going G Men this week. Coming off a bye, at home vs Rams, they will not lose.

Philadelphia far and away the best pick in 9. I already used them up though in 3 in the entries I have remaining. Like Seattle best this week in my pools that that double picks starting in 11. Houston too valuable in those pools to use this week. Will be on New Orleans too.

Jacksonville worth saving (lol can't believe I'm saying that!).

Unfortunately don't have Houston available in the other big season long pool I have remaining.

Don't do it! You didn't come all this way to go down like that...

Seems like Philly is a pretty solid pick almost every single week. I'm running out of entries that haven't used them.

If you have them available, Philly seems objectively better to me than Seattle although it's close. Philly with a little better chance of winning, a little less popular of a pick, and Philly doesn't have a juicy Week 17 vs Arizona.

If you don’t have Philly or Seattle available but do have the Texans what do you advise?

We already had double picks week 3 which wiped everyone out. Have 1 entry left. 238 remain out of 7983.

There are double picks again starting week 13 if there are more than 50 people left then a scale of double picks if more than 40 left for week 14, etc.

Given Jags Home against Colts week 13 and Saints home to Jets week 15 I cant see using them.

For week 12, how accurate have the Survivor Grid spreads been? It says Titans -6.5 at Colts but Colts were getting 7 at Titans a few weeks ago. Doesn’t seem right.
