On 9/23 Carolina was only -3.5
Then on 9/25 the spread wen to 10

So it ended up being a safer than I had expected

He still has 6 of the remaining 8 entries in the .5 btc pool. 30 of 61 entries in that one.
He's going to have a nice edge doing that right? On one hand, he's forced to take some -EV picks early to diversify. I doubt all those entries got through week 2 on PIT?

But once he's got 4 out of 6 remaining entries or so, he's got a big advantage since he knows what 2/3rds of the pool will be picking?

Extreme example, if A and B are equally skilled at NFL survivor, and A gets 95 entries and B gets 5 for a winner take all Survivor, doesn't A have more than 95% equity from the start?

Got through with HOU when 70% of the field was on SEA or NE. Should come in handy later in the season, if not immediately in these next few weeks.

Also through in other pools with HOU, CAR, GB, SEA, NE.

Not sure I agree. Player A is going to be making lots of -ev picks, whereas player B is going to be making +ev picks.

However, on the flip side, Player A basically knows what every 'other' player is picking so can make +ev picks, whereas Player B does not know what others are picking and can only guess.

Ha I just argued both sides. I really don't know how the math works out.

Anyone looking at SD this week? Leaky D but Browns maybe missing a few DBs.

I suppose Indy, Arizona, Green Bay and Seattle will all be popular choices.

I think SD will actually be more popular then GB/SEA but less popular then IND and it's confirmed on survivorgrid...as most people used GB week 1, SEA last week.

Lots and lots of directions to go this week. Went with San Diego in Wednesday lock-in pool.

Already have full season projection spreadsheets for a few pools. Going to be on 5 different teams this week (not including my rebuy pools). Housenuts, show off and see if you can guess the other 4.

Ha I'm in one of your pools so can't help you out. Guess not SD in that one. Also would help to know the field remaining in the others.

I'm in one that is down to 12 from 150 starting. Other than that, every other pool has between 100 & 300 people remaining. Putting more value in diversification of picks between those pool right now while avoiding picking 2-4 teams in each to save for later

I went all in this week on a game I feel like the line is about 7 points off.

My friend has a boner for AZ this week too. We split action in some pools, I thankfully talked him out of it and we went with Indy. 3 of us left, and I'm sure that at least 1, if not both of the of the other entries have used Sea and or Indy.

I tried to explain how he and my other friend should be crushing books if they can handicap so well.

There's no reason to not know the answer this question before making your picks

There's no website for this one. All done via text and recorded by hand, so there's nothing I can check. My entry is gone so he's doing all the communication. We have been getting the pick distributions when we got down to 5, just not sure what they picked week 1 and 2, and not sure which entry is picking what.

How many OL starters are out for the Chargers? Keep hearing they're decimated. Might gamble with the Saints.
