Carson Palmer is an unknown quantity, and there are plenty of easy picks this week. Stay away imo.

Line is 3.5, QB change, divisional game. Unpickable unless you've already burned Dallas, New Orleans, Green Bay, Baltimore... and probably Pittsburgh too.

Reports say Palmer isn't starting. Raiders have dominated in the division, but new Orleans seems to be the play.

Definitly on NO, No one in my league has used Dallas so im assuming everyone will have them for one of their picks. I know STL is a long shot to take them out esp if Bradford is out, but I wanna try and take another team + NO on that outside chance. Will have to think about another option.

Are you in a pool that you need to take 2 teams every week? Or do you have 2 entries? Dallas, green bay, new Orleans, or raiders seem to be pretty good. Not a fan of taking road teams but green bay is an exception. Maybe even throw Detroit in there coming off a loss.

Out of 8 left in league:

4 on Saints (me being one)
3 on Ravens

Best time to take a good team is off a loss. Down to 49 in my pool. Have a feeling everyone will be on the giants next week, including myself.

Here are the early week 8 lines:

Code:
NYG -10 vs. MIA
TEN -9.5 vs. IND
SF -9.5 vs. CLE
BUF -5.5 vs. WAS
CAR -3.5 vs. MIN
PHI -3.5 vs. DAL
SD -3.5 @ KC
CIN -2.5 @ SEA
NE -2.5 @ PIT
DET off @ DEN
BAL off vs. ARZ
NO off @ STL
HOU off vs. JAX
I'd be surprised if picks are concentrated on one team this week, as at a quick glance, there look to be five games that have roughly the same spreads: NO, TEN, SF, NO and BAL.

I'm going to play the waiting game. If win probability for each of these five teams is roughly the same, I'd need to look at future value and what % of other people are on these teams. BAL and NO have the most future value, NYG appears to have the least.

I know its great to take them off a loss, but that was an atrocious loss. Flacco had 1 passing yard in the first half, also looked like Ed Reed may have dislocated his shoulder.

A lot of guys bumped due to Balt, and DET. Also saw a few on OAK. 20 guys left, I imagine everyone left being on SF, or Balt this week. I'm gonna lean to Balt for sure.

As I posted in the week 8 thread. SF is a blow out win this week. Ii can't see Cleveland within 2 touchdowns.

May want to save San Fran for a tougher week down the road. When else would you take the giants or Tennessee?

There is zero chance ravens lose this week. At least occasionally sf gets clipped. I think Houston is safer then sf this week.

Mostly Houston this week. Tennessee with the rest.

common now, if we've learned anything from NFL it's that nobody has a zero chance.

Man I'm torn between Houston and Tennessee this week. I kind of want to save Baltimore and SF for later in the season. Chis Johnson hasn't been performing thus far and I feel like with all the criticism he is getting that he has a good opportunity to punch out a good game at home against the Colts. With that being said I simply don't trust the Titans right now and after getting absolutely embarrassed last week by NO I feel like Indianapolis is going to come out swinging this week to get a W on the board....I guess all of that makes Houston a safer pick?
