Would prefer your side on all four, I think, though I didn't play any of em.

Here's what I played on the open:

Houston -7 (just missed the 6.5, damn it)
Temple +12.5
Kent St. +14 (and then a bit more at +14.5 when it bounced back. It opened at 15.5, I think.)
Arky -23
Washington +18.5
USC -14
Louisville +8

Some leans of Iowa St, Boise, Wyoming, Pitt, and UL-Monroe.

Taking USF and Michigan on the ML have been my biggest scores in years (yes, I was yelling at the TV like a total degen last night). I'm worried about falling in love with betting against Notre Dame, but how does MSU not run over a sputtering team on the verge of collapse?

Ernie ty for making my thoughts clarified. Im 2-0 and how theyre giving points to a ranked, experienced team tgat has anihilated them 2 years straight. I know the well has a bottom but I guess Ill be rooting against them all year. I cannot see any value betting on them and I dont know how long the public keeps allowing better teams to get points but Im gonna take it while I can.

Side note why is syr getting so many points Ive checked injuries and they are capable of playing the perfect game of boring to keep pace or close with usc. After watching connecticut and west virginia is it possible the Bih east is a joke entirely?

just a note that the NIU/Wisconsin game is not @ Wisconsin
it's a neutral field - Soldier Field, Chicago

If I had to guess, I'd think fans will be 65/35 Wisconsin, but that's still not going to be as big a homefield as Madison

serious question -
do you think Michigan is a better team than Notre Dame?

I'm likely going to be on ND hard most of the rest of the year.
They are a pretty decent squad with some ugly luck the last few weeks.

I think that Michigan State is a much better team on paper than ND and I think that they're better coached. I believe that Nd has more red zone turnovers than any team in the nation and they have shown a inability to defend and keep their cool. I believe that linesmakers realize how hungry they are and how this is a must win game unfortunatly they are playing a far superior team and I think that the over will be my biggest bet unit wise this week if it stays right where it is. No way they can stop Cousins and baker. Good teams play 4 quarters and handle adversity.

Lean SDSU -7
Boise st. -16

No. By the numbers, ND should be favored against every opponent this year except stanford. That said, do they win 8 games and let squads like navy hang around way too long? This the market inefficiency we're trying to exploit.

Notre Dame still represents money, privilege, and expectation. They have a ton of pressure to win every week and face opponents who play as if it's their bowl game. If ND continues to lose, I think the line will catch up, but I am betting that they come out soft this week.

Well if they have a lot of turnovers, then they MUST BE TERRIBLE.

MiaFla -2 at home vs aOSU.

To be honest, I don't understand this line. Miami was missing 5 starters last game due to injury/suspension, including their best DL, best LB and defender Spence, starting DL Ojomo, and starting QB [minor upgrade] and best WR/return man Benjamin - who busted 2 returns for TDs last year in the horseshoe and has world-class speed. In addition, another ~2-3 guys are back from injury, the week off definitely helped in that regard. So not only do you get several important players back, but you have added depth as well, which killed them in the MD game.

Mia has a top-notch running game led by Miller and James that should be able to move the ball on the Ohio D. Miami's O-line is big and experienced and certainly not going to be outmatched by a B10 line.
Meanwhile, Ohio is still dealing with their own suspension issues whereas Miami's are over except for 2 players and certainly no one near as important as Pryor would have been. This is without even getting into Toledo outplaying Ohio for much of the game on Saturday.

If Miami didn't get Spence, Forston, Benjamin back I'd say this line is about right, as it is it looks low to me even if you don't consider Jacory an upgrade.

^^^^ Pretty much agree. Playing in the Horseshoe really got to them that day last year. 6-8 penalties were from the offensive line alone. Other than Jacory being "lol Jacory", Ohio St didn't dominate anything on paper even with HFA.

Yeah, but you had 3u on BC last week as well!

Of course, I'm not saying Miami is 'ten points better' like other people who pick lox.

I am going to pretend I don't see the first question.

That statement is unbelievable. Luck? More like suck. As in, THEY SUCK. Did you not see Notre Dame drop the ball for absolutely NO REASON, with no defender within five yards, not once, but TWICE in Saturday's game under perfect weather conditions??

Chalk it up to luck, right?

Did you see Notre Dame give up multiple 70+ yard pass plays vs. a QB not known for his arm?

But that was just luck...

Ten turnovers in two games? Definitely luck.

I could go on. But it wouldn't matter, because Notre Dame is an elite football team, who SHOULD go 10-2 this year and make it to a BCS bowl, if only it wasn't for all that luck of the Irish that they supposedly don't have.

It's all a fantasy. Notre Dame never should have sniffed the top 25, and they won't for the rest of the year, as they continue to stumble to another deserved 7-5 record after having faced exactly two ranked teams, one of which is Michigan State, a team against which they are bizarrely favored by 5 points.

But I'm not complaining. It's guys like you who make lines like Mich State +5 possible. I'm looking forward to fading Notre Dame this season as things seem to be setting up for them to have a horrendous year against the spread.

LOL... I think you are putting words in my mouth. I stand to make a tidy sum if Notre Dame finishes below 8.5 wins.

Doesn't change the fact that they are better than Michigan and a top 25 squad easily that is having a bad run in the luck meter.

WTF says ND should go 10-2???

Go ahead and fade ND all year. Seeing all the posts anti-ND reminds me to bet on them. The one school I do plan on fading is Michigan in every single B1G game as they remain the same ol' POS they've been for the last few years. Only a bit worse as their new OC and HC takes them back in time with overall philosophy.

Wonder if Braxton Miller will be getting any playing time for OSU. I like the line better if Bauserman is starting.

Care to share what you had Houston @ in this one? Like UH, but I was so far off, I have to think I am missing something here.
