not much he can do to exploit that toe given how well Hall is moving. Clinch and footstomps COULD work but it would be quite unsportsmanlike (as footstomps already are frowned upon), but i think Hall would beast him in the clinch anyway.
Great show of heart from hall i had it coming down to r3 shocked it wasnt a split and santos won r1 so 30-27s ******ed r2 was flip leaning hall and r3 was a flip lean santos becsuse of last min imo but whatever good fight
I still feel like Uriah Hall should have beat Santos even more convincingly, he's a much better athlete, faster, stronger. But he spends too much time feeling out the other fighter imo. Feel like he doesn't do his utmost to win rounds convincingly and is content just cruising by.
1.) he should've pursued tds at every turn once it's established urijah had leg injury as that prevents the sprawl
2.) a more clear example is when urijah rolled off the top after the kimura attempt and into open guard in the last 30 sec of the fight, santos should've immediately rolled for a leglock on the injured foot

All he had to do was roll for a leglock and just start twisting that toe, Hall would have tapped in a sec, I mean the bone was hanging out.
