I like a good KO as much as the next guy but I'd way rather see a ref stop a fight too early then too late.

Not a bad bellator card on Spike. One insane KO and awesome submission.

It is still amazing to me how terrible and inconsistent reffing and judging is in MMA. I understand it is still a relatively "new" sport but it's been around long enough by now and had enough events that guys reffing and judging the top tier organizations should at least have some understanding what they are doing.

It depends on what the strategy is. There's a 125 pounder that has missed weight the past 3 times and I think he's decided that it's better to not make weight... forfeit the 20% but use the extra size to ensure the win which would bring him more money and career advancement.

Other times the fighter is not prepared and it shows in his performance.

brandao chope cancelled as chope was in a domestic a while backchope cut. was looking forward to that fight, no idea why he gets cut but wife beater trujillo doesn't I can't wait to see trujillo get destroyed when he fights someone good

Could the ufc not just run a background check before signing him?

Really upset to see this one canceled. A in shape Brando isn't something we are going to see every fight.

Hah, upon review I'm pretty sure 5d just got the lines mixed up, I think Hendo is supposed to be +1835 and Shogun is supposed to be +794. I'll be surprised if my bets don't get canceled.

Pissed that the Brandao fight got cancelled got him at -300 and was my only play of the card. They should have just cut Chope after this fight.
