Hunt was so gassed, but still he was in there, preserving his KO power. You can see a guy like Hunt has the routine of veteran fighter, he's gassed but he still has that little fuel left to give it all if he sees an opportunity.
Also, was funny to see herb dean, he was like wtf do I do, do I stop it, but I can't do it just because hunts walking away like a champ. Then, meh, I'll stop it, struve doesn't look like he wants anymore.
Idk why Hunt keeps walking away, if its out of respect, or because in K1 u walk away on a knockdown, but I don't think it's ulterior motive to just make referee call it a night.

I'm stuck as to who we match Hunt up with now. I mean surely he can't get the JDS/Reem winner. Werdum/Nog winner would roflcrush him. I suppose it depends whether they want Werdum or JDS/Reem to face Cain after Bigfoot and the other winner gets Hunt as ridiculously one sided as that will be regardless of who it is. I suppose Hunt could beat Overeem maybe if he somehow beat JDS.
