Decent night, Liked Strickland's Diaz like approach of just peppering guys until they fall over.

Don't see much that stands out on the next card. As much as I don't want to bet on Chookagian, that line looks like it might be a little wide. Her grappling isn't too bad from memory and she has the edge standing.

Need to watch some tape.

All these Contender Series matchups look horrible. Either a huge mis-match or two nobodies.

Is there money in Bellator? I never bet/watched it and wondering if it's worth it.

theyve bled contender series talent pool dry the last few years. was legit good the first few years, now its a bunch of 7-3 people.

i dont like bellator as much. the talent pool is very shallow so you end up with a lot of -400+ mismatched fights. also i absolutely hate the circular cage, so much harder to put people on the fence so you end up with way more boring fights where one person is just circuling the whole time. its harder for pressure fighters to force exchanges and cage wrestlers to get people to the fence. obv there are some good spots from time to time, but limits are somewhat meh and raked a lot higher. also so much of their main events end up being washed 42 year old ex-ufc fighter vs very washed 45 year old ex ufc fighter and i absolutely hate betting those fights too. the commentary is atrocious too. its goldberg, big john, and josh thomson and theyll do anything but talk about the fight. legit brutal to watch, cant imagine actually being a bellator fan if i wasnt betting on the fights.

Ashley Yoder really impressived me, deep sports, like looking at someone that has gone on a treasure hunt with their soul and returned with a cooler smoother blue, a hotter warm flowering red, a more vibrant deeper sharper imaged clarity, not sure what routine of life she does around mma but its all kinds of well at the delivery, purposeful more present than a grandfather clock, fresh not stale, each moment no clue or indications whats coming next, ashley ultra game yoder,

Sup guys, just got home from work and watching DWCS. I don't have much research about the fighters and who to bet on, so I'll probably just do live betting as the fights go. And scramble to see if I can get quick research in before fights.

That was Andre Souk vs Sugar Show level of low fight IQ

She had already tasted her grappling and lost Rd 1 , why clinch her after she had her rocked? All she had to do was keep punching her, she was already kinda turtled

Instead she clinches with her ! Like I understand you have high level MT but she has takedowns FFS

Interesting, I thought both women looked not UFC ready at all. Yoder did get takedowns, but was hittable on the feet and the first two rounds were close etc

Granger had the talent and hands and so on but absolutely no core strength and no fight IQ or gameplanning ability at all

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if neither woman ever wins a UFC fight again. I was on Granger, so may have been watching with some bias, but I found both to be very unimpressive. Yoder did follow a gameplan of win via takedowns I guess, but her skills do seem super limited

Got a few bets for UFC this weekend but will post them up on Sat.

On Caldwell at 3.65 tonight, Mckee's looked great but this is a big step up.

Took Jason Jackson at 1.63 against Bendo. Having flashbacks to Bendo's fight against Koreshkov where he got manhandled. Think we see something similar.

only looked at one fight so far but I'm locking in

Perez +240 over Figueieredo
Perez wins by decision +625

Perez is a great wrestler (averages slightly more than 1 takedown per round) and even tho Fig has defended takedowns well, I think he's just outmatched here.

Fig does have the ability to just land a one shot kill so that's always a worry. Fig can't really do anything on his back. He just tries to get up or goes into guard (or go for the choke 30x like against Brooks).

If Perez can wear him down early that should neutralize Fig's power. Perez is a better striker but just doesn't do as much damage as Fig. Get him tired early by wrestling and we good.

What do MMA experts think

i think formiga/brooks fights show theres a clear path for perez here, though i think he might just get starched early. i think it's closer than -300/245 for sure, and i am so curious to see figureido in the 4th/5th rounds. the speed difference on the feet is going to be pretty crazy though. getting starched by joey b early is a tough look.

I love these bellator guys. They just throw random kicks and telegraph all their submission attempts. It's like they're playing a video game

Henderson is a judge's darling and gets rounds for no reason so kind of like him too, but would rather just hit the by dec prop.

Prob not betting, but would've hit that by dec prop at +250 or above.

Wish the main event was 3 rounds so I could have bet Caldwell at these odds but not touching it in a 5 rounder.
