Anyone got anything on tonight?

I really don't see much at all. Might put some small money on Ricky Rainey by KO.
RDA is kind of tempting at current odds as I don't think Usman can push the pace Covington did, but then again Usman is capable of implementing a Khabib style gameplan and maul RDA for 5 rounds.

theres a 2008 olympic bronze medalist wrestler who's +149 to a 5-2 regional heavyweight. that seems interesting.

My parlays lost with Usman, so only way to get even is betting RDA

I really think Usman grinds out a decision 9/10
But maybe I’ll be wrong

I thought the fight was a majority draw, and a clear 10-8 with the new rules.

Also, thought Macy and Pannie were going to get it on after their fight (and before on the last episode of TUF).

48-47 usman might be one of the worst score cards not including Ross Pearson- Diego Sanchez I’ve ever seen in my life.

Derek Brunson winning every round and still losing to Anderson Silva comes to mind as worse, but yeah, I had Usman 50-45 and 49-46 at worst.

You can make a case Silva won rounds. There are plenty of scorecards worse where a fighter gets multiple rounds they couldn't have possibly won. Any fights I need to catch up on midweek from today's card? Didn't get to see it.

I'm thinking about Matthews since i'm so high on him but it's a step up in competition I do think he's rapidly improving and is entering the early stages of his prime - people forget he was 19 when he got into the UFC

Nothing else I love on the Australia card. A couple years ago i've have played Reis as a dog but meh. Would have obv played Hunt pre Oleinik. There's probably a non zero chance Hunt took a dive in Russia looking as bad as he did and with the sus line movement that fight if he looks at all decent in this fight - if not he's done and it's time to hang them up

JDS has to be worth considering but prob staying away, Tuivasa might find his chin but he needs to do it in the first 7-8 mins or so or he's not winning

In the post fight show Bisping was taking words out of my mouth in regards to RDA.

Why would RDA's manager accept that fight in the small cage. In a bigger cage he can avoid the fence better... more time to land shots before he gets pinned but in that tiny cage it's 2 steps back and your squished.

For RDA he has to make the move back to 155. He can make the weight as that line is bs that his frame is too big. He made it several times and he's only 5 foot 6. He left the division because he lost to Khahib and Fergusson.
At 155 only Khahib is going to be able to push him against the fence and as we've seen with RDA he's the one pushing guys against the fence at 155.
But at 170 it's a wrestling division. Here's some of the top guys that RDA will get pushed back to the fence.

Ben Askren
Colby Covington
Usman
Woodley
Darren Till

Out of those 5 guys he has small chance... and he will need to beat 2 of them in a row to get a title shot + his next fight at 170 will be against a lower ranking guy.... it makes no sense to continue at this weight considering at 155 it's a striking division and he fairs a much better chance.
I'm a big fan of his and Dana likes him to so he should be ok.

i think jds is worth a pop at -124. i can definitely see him getting ko'd early but jds is going to be landing a lot of jabs. also, what happens in rd 4+5? i got pedro big early at avg -380ish, but wouldnt touch where its at now. i'm liking matthews, hoping it goes back to evens. i'll put a little on willis if that trends back to closer to even. elias garcia and yushin seem interesting. nothing i really love this card, but some smallish bets seem to be good.

was thinking about a small bet on reis when he was 135, but now that he's trended close back to evens i'll pass.
