Weidman is the real deal. I think he's clearly #2 MW now and a legit threat to Silva.

If you guys ever get the chance to go to an actual UFC fight GO! Went, UFC 148 in Vegas scored the sickest seats minutes before in the "free drinks section" 3o ft from th cage and embraced pure rediculousness. So much fun, besides that giant DYK loss. Thk god weidmen did work to ease the blow, plz hold 1 time marquArt.

Weidman would destroy Le, Le doesn't have a chance against any top 10 guy.

I'm on Marquardt against Woodley too.

@Pierce i've been to 110, 116 and 132, I ran pretty good in that 116 and 132 were two of the most best UFC cards of all time and 110 had an amazing crowd as the first event in Australia. I definitely recommend going to live events as well, it's an amazing atmosphere

Thinking of dropping some more on Marquardt while the odds are still close, I think the correct odds are closer to -200 for Nate.

I still am worried about the whole " I'm suddenly off trt thing" and the fact he hasn't faught in awhile. Hopefully he doesn't get wrestle ****ed

I doubt he actually quit trt. Im pretty sure he doesn't have an exemption so maybe he has to lie about it.

I wasnt trying to say that Le would defeat wiedman...i was trying to say that they want to give weidman a fight he can win against a guy perceived by the public to be good.

However, if they were to fight, i think -800 is a bit much, and lol @ weidman proving to the world that he's now the #2 middleweight...i think that's a big premature too.

As swoop said, as good as weidman was last night, i think the even bigger story was how bad munoz looked out there.

Weidman could be anywhere from #3-6 right now imo after Silva and Sonnen, depends how he'd fare against Bisping, Belfort and Franklin imo (although 2/3 of them aren't in title contention so he won't be facing them before Silva obv as there's no upside for the UFC)

Munoz was ranked 3rd or 4th and Weidman dominated. Weidman is easily 2nd or 3rd now with Chael. Who else has a dominating win over someone ranked that high at MW?

Weidman is the top MW contender in my mind. Belfort and Sonnen are right there with him rankings-wise but they got their asses handed to them by Silva so they are basically irrelevant right now.

I guess I have to forgive JTH for not finishing Beltran since he broke his hand. **** luck though.

Woodley struggled with Jordan Mein. Marq should absolutely win this. Yes, the style matchup is tough for him but I feel he will be able to stop enough takedowns to stop Woodley with strikes at some point given that he knows this is Woodley's only chance.

Agree with Provolone that Weidman/Belcher is the obv fight to make. I think Franklin would be a good stepping stone for him too since it's doubtful he would beat Weidman.

Where does Shields fit in at 185? Does a win over Herman put him in line for a big fight?

I **** the bed on the last card. can't do any worse on the next.

Looking into the future a bit, Machida is a terrible matchup for Bader, its still too far out from the fight to make a play for me, but if he stays around -300 I'll be all over that, and throw him in some parlays.

Bendo at -160 against Edgar is really good value too, I'd say Edgar is probably as good a fighter as Bendo, but styles make fights and I think bendo takes this one again.

I've been with the Machida pick for awhile. What can Bader realistically do? He stands no chance on the feet and his wrestling has not looked nearly overpowering enough for me to think he is gonna plant Machida on his ass at will.

Shields should get one of the upper tier guys if he gets by Herman I think. I'd like to see him face someone like Stann. His line at -170 vs Herman is intriguing.

Herman is going to beat Shields. Shields might be more overrated than BJ at this point.

i didnt much like BJ at +140, but man alive it looks like it's headed for +250 and i think that might be worth the biggest bet i've ever made on such a (live?) underdog

super high variance because BJ could show up in literally any type of shape, but if he comes in 170 pounds of solid muscle and anywhere near the best he can be with his cardio, i dont mind his chances at all.

disclaimer: BJ Penn is my all time favorite fighter, so i'm probably not to be trusted with my analysis of any of his fights.

Imo, this is the least likely BJ to show up.

Honestly I don't mind Edgar over Bendo as a dog. I feel like he'll make the adjustments and get 3 rounds, his biggest worry is if Bendo can actually finish as Bendo will land on him at some stage. Disclaimer, Edgar is one of my favourite fighters. Either way, the winner of this fight is going to be champ for a long time imo, I see the winner getting through Diaz, Pettis and whoever's next after that.

wondering this myself:

leaning nasty nate at the sort of horrible -130 i can get. I really like roger gracie over the dean but dont have a line for it :/

kind of lost on the ME, looking for suggestions.

Already bet Marquardt.

Gracie is around -200 right now.

Rockhold missed weight but the line doesn't seem to be moving much at the moment. Think I will take a small flier on Kennedy. But the style matchup seems bad for him so I'm not sure.

Jason High is only -185 against a dude I've never heard of hmmm

if i had a line on ryan couture i think i'd take it at -165, but, well, god bless the usa.

bet to win a unit on marquardt at -130.

like it but dont love it. staying away from the ME.

I have 2.2u on Marquardt over Woodley at -111 (I got in early)

Nothing else yet but I may add some.

Card is actually pretty good. Rockhold defending title, Marquardt's debut, Couture vs someone i've actually heard of, Jardine vs Gracie, and i've heard of at least one of the two fighters on the rest of the card too for possibly the first time ever
