bafferts ownership of this track be damned

Awesome! I appreciate that. I don't get out there as much as I used to. Last time would be Derby Day last year. My daughter had just turned 18 so we brought her with. Gave the kid a $20 win free roll on Orb. She was happy and excited about the prospects of being able to "smoke cigarettes and gamble".

after the fact but in race 7 at KEE, #1 going at 9/5 is so lol. why dont you just throw your money in the garbage can. casse in graded stakes races in the us has to be 0 for his lifetime. i have NEVER seen him win a race ever.

See now your on to what I have preaching and griping and bytching and begging for...imagine if you could bet against that horse at that price and not have to bet it too win...at 9/5 and a opinion like you have on the trainer in this spot you could of made a good deal of coin...EXCHANGE WAGERING FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE!!!

funny, honcho, i was thinking exchange wagering too.

hate to badmouth anyone. i know he does win in canada at woodbine, and he prob wins his his share of msw, allowance, aoc, ungraded stakes here in the us, but he does not win graded races here. and he sends A LOT to post. i'd be shocked if he was better than 5% in graded stakes in the us the last few years.

and coastline in the bluegrass goes at 7/1. ok sure.

Anybody else on hiatus since that wtf moment last saturday in the Ark Derby?? Best part about that race was the post race interview with Joe Bravo, they asked him " Tell us Joe, when did u think u had it won"? Joes reply was "when i parked the car"........lol...

I wasn't around on Saturday so I DVRed the TVG coverage. The one guy (the kid who looks like he is wearing his dad's suit) says before, "I don't know why Pletcher entered this horse in the race. If it was any other trainer I would just think he has Derby fever. Maybe he knows something we don't."

For me ATS it was because of the race prior...I will NEVER be able to tell what a steward is looking at because it sure as hell is not the race. All I can figure is the horse steward is the minor leagues for becoming a boxing judge. I knew some boxing judges and to think as an example a world class athlete and the months of training they go thru if I let it go to the judges I am counting on their eye to tell me who won or lost

The KYD is the 1st Saturday of May and I'll watch if I am not busy. This is about where I am at now when it comes to horse racing. Cant bet the way I want to (exchange wagering) so I compete on DW and I have not even done that in a month I think.

i understand where ur comin from honcho. I will preface this by saying, "I had Will Take Charge singled n my pick4"... Now with that outa the way, I think the stewards made the correct decision, albeit a difficult one. This is my interpretation of the stewards findings & why they ruled the way they did. WTC was lugging in sumthin awful on Golden Lad & theres no doubt in my mind that WTC fouled GL, but this is where it gets interesting. When WTC started lugging in, Revolutionary was starting to bob & weave up the rail. So rite after WTC makes contact with GL, Revolutionary is looking for a seam cos he's full of run & when going for that seam, Revolutionary causes GL to also have to take up sharply so they dont clip heels. This altercation is ultimately what saved WTC from being DQ'd. The stewards in there opinion, thought GL was a tiring a horse & his finishing position was not effected by the incident. The stewards felt if they DQ'd WTC, they would also have to DQ Revolutionary & that would have put up Carve... A horse that had no business winning that race. So if Revolutionary would not have caused GL to take up slightly after WTC had already fouled GL, then i think Revolutionary would have got the money & WTC would have been DQ'd. Tough decision for sure, but i can understand ur frustration with the ruling. A different set of stewards may have ruled the opposite, u jus never know & i think that is the biggest problem. We need rules to b the same everywhere & enforced the same everywhere. Fwiw

Ah d-heat hit me at least.

I like how any ole Kitten is an auto ML short price, its funny. P5 payout envy is my foolishness. One money back 4/5 $35ish is best showing since open. Other few complete whiffs. Derby cant come quick enough.

Pace could be crazy fast in CT Classic. #5 Long River looks like he could be worth a play. GoD and Moreno might take all of the money.

lol, Long River hammered down to 5/2 2nd choice w/ 12min to post. man, everyone is just terrible. trying to play wps has to be one of the most frustrating things in gambling. you got to be into s&m to play this way frequently.

honestly you need a new hobby if you took him at 2/1.

and then you got a minus ride from irad ortiz. wow.

hats off to Imperative and kent desormeaux they picked up the pieces when that predictably fell apart.

happy easter everyone. have a nice day

Pdiggz, u do realize Casse is now 2 for 2 in graded stakes since ur post about him?? And im not needling at all. I was with you, but after the Doubledog win, i saw he opted outa the lexington for Illinois Derby on saturday & bcos of u & that being on my mind, i used him in a $1pick3 ticket that started in Race7. & finishing n the Derby. Hit it to the tune of $1,115 for the $1 payoff.

WTG ATS!!! Its not the size of the bet it is the size of the score some people will never get this.

Pdiggz is the new Walk You caught on to the trend on the backside of that curve and ATS love your attention and trusted your gut and turned on the yellow hammer and cranked one out my man.

Good call on Beholder that was just a workout.
