Not betting a lot or anything, but I think he'll get a good trip, and I hope he can find a spot at the top of the stretch and beat Twirling Candy to the wire.

$20 to Win
Nice one CD!...I've been bs'ing back and forth with Kev,and told him i thought the #4 and #7 looked awesome in the paddock.

I hit the exacta $19.80 with a 47/1,4,6,7,and lost $200 on TC to win.

Im sorry Nadj,i found this post of yours funny as hell. I like that its 30+ hours later and your still pist.......Now i TRY not to learn the same lesson twice,it does happen time to time, but when i KNOW its MY mistake i can be tough on myself like you are.

IMO,the most successful cappers all have 1 thing in common, and that is they are honest with themselfs.

I was told to lay the favorite on the horses. If you lose, you take the amount you lost and any commission from the betting exchange and use this to lay the favorite in the next race. If you win the bet you simply stake your choosen amount. (sounds like a martingale to me)

I tested this today with no cash, just following odds and results and I made a profit of 163.80.

It is my thinking that as long as you onyl ever lay the favorite, and ensure that you liability for laying the bets dont exceed X amount (depending on what your limit is)and depending on odds on the exchange. you should be able to turn a profit as favorites dont always win.

Today I had two losers on my horses (but won a couple with big liability). discounting the big liability bets I would have still turned a profit.

It cant be as simple as "as long a you can always cover liabilty, you will eventaully turn a profit".

how would one go about calculating the risk of ruin etc on this??

Nay comments welcome
The deciding factor will be what price you managed to lay every favourite at....
MrA could lay every favourite and lose and MrB could lose every favourite and win.

R 4: 5,7
R 5: 4,6
R 6: 1,2,6
R 7: 3,5,7

only thing I kind of regret is leaving off the 2 in R5, but the 4 in that race is my favorite pick of the pk4. gl all.
