I doubt I could answer the test the same again. Had no idea what I was doing:

Quote:
You are in a perpetual quest to find the new, the exciting. Emotionally volatile, you are known for sudden changes of opinion, of appreciation, and behavior. Following rules and established methods is difficult for you and the difficulties of higher education are usually quite daunting. Knowledge is best gained through an intimate association with the matter at hand. Usually driven by attitudes and desires of the group, you are talented in an established field of endeavor. Emotions come and go without a strong understanding of their causes. They are unexpected guests in an otherwise placid landscape. You live by your own codes of conduct, which can be noble or terrible depending on the individual. Authority is meaningless to you. You hate to be predictable, at all costs. Rarely verbally effusive, you can at times feel as if your feelings are too deep for words. You are very observant, but rarely express these observations to others.
This is completely wrong.

Then again, when my wife ran some psych tests on me, I was diagnosable as a narcissistic personality disorder. So maybe it's better than average.

so what did your guys horoscopes say this morning?
03-13-2011 , 06:49 PM
you guys have any recommendations for a good astrologist?
03-13-2011 , 06:53 PM
I meant to say this earlier but forgot. The main source of science behind projective tests come from this one guy's work on the Ink Blot Test (aka Rorschach test). Recently, it's been proven that the work was nearly completely fabricated.

ants at a picnic.

yes, its almost certainly unsubstantiated nonsense. that being said, i took it again today, didnt really remember my previous responses, but got the same result.

anyone ever take a myers briggs test? i had to take one when i saw a career counselor in college. i thought it was complete bs until i started reading all of the different personality profiles. ENTP

I mean, sure, quite a bit of this applies to me, however it's pretty standard 'cold reading' type ****.

Spoiler:

After writing this (edit) - I went back and looked at the site which is basically BRILLIANT. I mean - we've all seen how popular meaningless tests are - just look at your FB news feed and see 'who answered a question about you' or w/e. The site itself appears to be some guy's design portfolio (and the test DID look very cool with questions that seemed phrased for mystique rather than analysis). What better way to get some viral viewing of your site than to create a cool looking test, rack up page views, and fabricate credibility while showing off some abstract work for prospective clients?

Really good by this guy imo.

the usual, storing up food, boarding up the windows, making nailbats (which is a bat, with nails in it)

also thinking about wiring up the outside of my room with explosives, like in I Am Legend

my friend sent me this link with several photos of the late 19th cent american west. it's amazing looking back over 100 yrs ago and thinking how much it must have sucked to live then rather than now. no internets, no showers, no cars, no electricity, no iphones, no music really. **** that would have sucked so much. makes you wonder what people 100 yrs in the future will have so that they pity us.

it depends on where you lived, what you looked like, and how much money you had

If you live in a ****ty part of africa today your life would suck, if you have no money and youre living in the slums in chicago your life would suck too

life back then was simply life back then, they were probably looking back a hundred years wondering how much it would suck and a hundred years from now people will look back and wonder how much it would suck to live now

Moral of the story, life always sucks, but it sucks less 100 years in the future, and more 100 years in the past? So even if you make a time machine, you're still ****ed.
