Christmas has always been a time for reading, for me, so I'm looking forward to finding a really good book to enjoy in front of the fireplace with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
I currently prefer watching TV-series, surfing the internet or chatting over reading. I used to read all the time when I was younger (think 6-12), but I don't really like it anymore. About the language proficiency; that's definitely true. I was one of the few kids reading English books when I was twelve and older, and I really notice the difference between me and my classmates (studying international business, in English).
On that topic; I was running around at school today, I received a wrong form - to get a scholarship for China I had to get some forms retrieved and filled in before 4.30pm. After running around for an hour I handed everything in at 4.27pm. Ship the $$$$! It's about €1200, 1800$. For free. I would have felt pretty bad if I would have missed that.
Now I have to start packing for tomorrow... and do the ****ing dishes. I hate the latter. I also noticed my flight leaves two hours earlier than I had in my mind. So lucky that I printed the ticket today instead of tomorrow, that would have been awkward
