Not exclusively but yeah when i cba playing cash. Frustrating but fun! I just won entry into the last stage for the Aussie Millions. Hardly any players registered though so they're going to have to reschedule the tourney. Hope it goes ahead at some stage when i'm not working!

I used to lend £2k off goatian pretty much every month and run it up to 20k and pay him back.

It's got a lot tougher in the last few months though. But not in the way you'd expect. There's no money at under 200nl imo. All the fish seem super nitty and you're battling with rake to make money. Also theres a million regs at 200nl or under who are scared to move up but happy with the 3k-10k a month poker is providing them.

My theory on it is that because of the economy all the people who used to fund the low stakes are now struggling. The ones that do play dont want to lose their £100 deposit and as such play nitty and limp etc. Then rake easts away a lot of the money.

The guys who donate at 600nl to 5knl are guys earning 100k+ per year and probably a fair few of them are millionaires who dont mind dropping 200k over 3 months for fun. This means the games are more splashy, agro and profitable.

This basically falls into the old joke of move up where they respect your raises! A lot of 100nl and 200nl grinders will probably look at this post and think what an idiot but i've been doing this stuff for years and its true lol.
Lol this is a funny poast because it isn't really false.
You do get less people who spin-up monies and make it to the highstakes while having no clue though.

But seriously, the only difference between stakes now is the regs are better when you move up, there isnt more or less fish per table after 100NL. You also pay less rake in bb/100 of course.

Hehe what's on? I'm back at parents atm but last time I was at Maybury during their festival someone stood up and threatened to punch me at the table.

Also I focused on keeping my head still last night when playing snooker and it definitely helped; thanks for that.

Lol a few characters through there. Light 3 bet a couple of times then show up with AK the 3rd time when a disgruntled punter shoves AJ and you're even money to get a slap. It's just the £20 (1rebuy, 1 add on). Going through with a couple of mates.

Where you from? When's the festival?

No worries Danny just give me a shout if you hear of any decent tourneys in the future and we'll get something sorted.

You'll be getting plenty snooker chat next week if Judd does the business lol

Live just on border of New Town and Stockbridge, usually play cash in Circus 2/3 times a week when there. The tourny was a £500 thing back in October, Genting are running a £400 thing as part of their tour sometime this summer.

I've heard players in the maybury saying the circus 2/4 game was soft and pretty crazy at times. Always meant to get through for a look. Live noob though so i'd probably get taken to the cleaners!
