Yeah they need to add more stuff to the store over time, what they have is pretty much nothing/lame.

The prices of those TVs looks like it would be burning money. Doubt anyone would bother buying them. Not that it matters to me since they don't ship anything to New Zealand besides books and other busto crap.

Hmm really tempted to move to Stars now, bigger player pool and better rewards programme.
09-30-2010 , 07:42 AM
they better be adding more stuff to that store in the next 20 minutes lol
09-30-2010 , 07:43 AM
So roughly 135k points for someone who gets 2k points/day (1.25 multiplyer to account for HH and 2x points) = roughly 560$ per month if you grind this hard
Actually 560$-27% I guess

1 ironman medal = $0.20, 40 ftp

therefor the $2000 bonus in the bc store is worth 10k IM or 400k ftp points. the fact that it costs 480k ftp says a lot zz
09-30-2010 , 07:52 AM
oh well...
09-30-2010 , 07:59 AM
Why did you guys expect anything different? I figured they'd prob value the FTP points the same, the difference being you can now exchange them for cash.

I'm not disappointed at all, I guess because this is what I expected, it's still better than before. Also helps I have 560k pts stored up heh. I have spent like 400k on ftp in the past 2 years.

Some potential drama bombs in the FTPDoug thread:

I've only scanned it but contributed rake?!

great news for HU players. they basically get 5x points as compared to before. and if those players are black card members they would get 10x.
09-30-2010 , 08:20 AM
And this weighted contribution rakeback is good news for the LAG players right?
09-30-2010 , 08:22 AM
Waiting for math guys to work all this shiz niz out.

I guess to work out how much RB we get we just filter HEM by flops seen now?..

Ha has FT just basically screwed the FR nits?!
09-30-2010 , 08:29 AM
Site back up (lol 22k tables/25k players), promotions page still down
Edit: No more Iron Man+ so the 2k points/day player from my post above loses 300 extra points per month or 60$-27%

E. Visual Indication for Ring Game Waiting Lists: Only for Individual waiting lists (doing it for global waiting lists would look pretty bad, and wasn't technically possible). Any tables you're on the waitlist for now will turn purple.
Small but awesome change

My Black Card status says member in the FTP client widget despite only having a 100 day rolling average of 398.37, wtf has anyone else got this?
09-30-2010 , 08:35 AM
mwahahahahahahaha... contributed rakeback.

this is pretty epic. nits just got crushed and the 23+ vpip guys just got big bonuses to their hourly.

Mostly good news for the few fishes who signed up with rakeback.
09-30-2010 , 08:45 AM
Thank goodness about contributed rake. The nits have been robbing me blind in this regard for years. I literally play 2x more pots than some of the tighter players.

I think my VPIP is up to about 28 these days so that's good news (assuming they don't screw us somehow, waiting for math guys).

I got a pretty low rolling points of 350ish and don't see it, would certainly like to know how they determined who makes it or not if they are below 500 so I can complain and maybe get it :P

I'm probably averaging like 200 the last two month so I kinda knew I wasn't close to 500
09-30-2010 , 08:54 AM
Wow my rolling average 917, much higher than expected as the last 2 months iv'e probably averaged 400-500. But the month before I guess i tore it up.
09-30-2010 , 09:05 AM
wow. just wow. everybody talking about the black card then ftp drops a huuuuge ****ing bs-bomb on us w the contributed rake. i just checked my contributed rake vs mgr this month and the difference is almost 2k ($4,503 contributed vs $6,472 MGR) which esentially means instead of 1747$ rakeback i only get 1215$ in the future. you gotta be ****ing ****ting me? for he first time ever im srsly considering moving to another site. this is just ******ed...
09-30-2010 , 09:07 AM
wow i got a rolling day avg of 1667. considering i hardly played anywhere near 40k hands in jul/aug, im shocked.
