Well, it can work better vs. certain villains, but it's pretty good if a normal turn bet doesn't price them in to call the shove with better draws. If you're concerned about balance it's also good to at least occasionally take this line with some big draws if you want to do it with sets and other strong hands.

What happens when you go from slightly losing in the BB and winning in the SB to losing 25 in the BB and 21 in the SB. Looks like a monster with it's mouth open.
