i guess we just disagree how light OP is leading in the 3bet pot.

yeah but that doesn't really matter if villain perceives his range as weak.

Well since this popped back up, it's really silly to lead this flop and then say "WTF?" when he raises.

You already need to know what you are going to do when he raises, to bet the flop in the first place, as somebody else said.

If it's just "ZOMG OVERPAIR" and you bet, then Hero is the spaz, not Villain.

if you were donking the flop specifically to induce a bluffraise, then i guess it's an okay move against a very aggressive opponent with the right dynamics. much better 100bb deep.

donking the flop then being confused about how to proceed is terribad.

Yeah this deep 99 really isn't as good as it looks OOP even BvB. I'm just small-balling it all the way unimproved, and if I get exploited, well such is life.

Why are you leading into acehole unless you want him to do something spazzy like he is? I agree w/ your read, so that dictates that a move like this should lead to some spazzy shiz. As played I think a call or shove work. A shove obv gets him to fold most of his air (but who knows w/ acehole), so I advocate a c/c on the flop.
