Villain unknown, but likely a reg. Opener was fish, was going to 3-bet him but just called.
Stacking off here?
Imo. JJ seems too strong to fold here and overpairs should just bet bet bet

i think that you prob ought to stack this because of your pre-flop flat call. You under repped your hand to the point that it's prob the strongest non-set n your entire range = only stack sets or stack JJ.

I think you can and should call the all-in. This is sort of the situation you should be hoping for when you chose to flat JJ pre-flop.

Would you think he does this with TT or 99?

I don't think it would be especially good for villain to do this with any hand but i can see TT or 99. In my personal experience I see this line taken with draws more than anything. I would expect to see some TT,99, MAYBE TPTK, and a ton of flush draws, any straight/combo draws he makes it to the flop with (prob more than it'd seem based on our pre-flop flat call, his entire open range is in play), of course he could also have some two pair combos and all the sets but I am not sure sets overbet the flop this way very often.

I think it's a gross situation that is confusing and seems sort of fishy but it's a call IMO.

Interesting, but why?

Snapfolding is too hard. This line represents a range of hands that doesn´t fear seeing turns while having enough equity to gtii. Could be a decent line with some sort of strong draw or mediocre overpair with

I'd expect to see something like AK tbh, also FWIW, aside from 88 this is like the best hand we can have.

I wouldn't say it's a snap fold.

Smaller otf indeed.

If we are bet/folding JJ here then what hands do we bet/stack off with?
01-22-2015 , 08:11 AM
QQ and slowplayed AA,KK

Flop fine, would 3bet the fish pre though usually

Was planning to 3-bet, but then clicked the wrong button. Kind of disconnect in my thought process.

Spoiler:
He had KK

I think its fine
Cooler

I mean, if you slow play AA and KK in this spot and if you flat QQ then I guess you could stack only QQ+ but I don't think I would ever get to this flop this way with QQ+ and youre just not gonna have set often enough to fold a hand so near the top of your range. You even have the Jh. I would feel ~ stacking JhJx as I would QQ w no heart.

The BDFD and the heart draw blocker prob almost make up for the one hand QQ beats that JJ doesn't.

I also think its worth mentioning that none of the broadway hearts are out, so there are plenty of XhXh combos out and folding vs the flush draw would be pretty bad.

You just ran into it IMHO
