how concerned about people in general about these issues, playing sites other than stars?
1 - pretty good idea
2 - I wouldn't want to keep much money in accounts where I couldn't protect it with a security token

there's no point in not getting one. They only cost around $20 in VPPs

hmm. i always keep quite a substancial amount of my roll online, haven't really been worried it about it ever. probably should only keep like 8-10bi and rest on Skrill because the transfers are so easy.

my gmail is already secured with the sms verification...

btw i know the nordnet management quite well so i can ask about it.

I almost never shut down my computer or my pokerstars account. Can't be hacked if you're always logged-in.

I follow many other security tasks on top of that though.

I love playing in English Pounds and Euros and Dollars. When I win a Pound hand I think oh yea, you can have the dollar pot...but then it sucks to lose a Pound pot. I iPoker. Soon I will be grinding whatver the biggest stakes are running on that site with my new 10 BI BR management.

Leaving the minimum amount you need on the sites is always a great idea, and it has a couple of good effects.

1. You get to minimize the effect of a hacking : if you get in fact hacked, it would be "only" for an amount that you ve previously decided as "ok" to risk.

2. It s a lot less stress. If you have your whole BR on a site, you must be very worried, and paranoid all the time

3. It s a side effect but I find it very important : you can do stuff with your money. Put it in a bank account, use it to stake people, anything you want.

What I do is that i usually keep around 10BI of my stake on the site. The rest is in the bank where I can make fast transfer if needed. The whole point is to have enough money to survive your daily swings while not putting "at risk" more money than you care to lose in the event of a hack (or a site going bankrupt... or taken by the FBI).

The amount will be different for everyone, so just figure out how much you swing, then apply that rule.

Also, use all security you can have. Stars has pin code, there is a good amount of security on some email box (avoid hotmail, is all I ll say ...)

Anyway, that my method.

Golden advice. I do the same. I almost never have more than 15 bins on my acco. Ofc for some hard ass multitablers 10 bin is not enough, but if I lose 10 bin's I'm more than willing to quit for the day.

..usually.

It was because of the . I guess I just don't know what winking means. I am really sorry to hear about the hacking.

Luckily when my account gets hacked they always play free money and mostly crush. I remember one night though they didn't crush and I had like 12m* on FTP and that dumbass hacker blew it all and I had to start from scratch.

*I know this isn't a lot but it was for me.

Humor always helps.

Yesterday was the first SSer I saw and today there were more, I have to say SSing on iPoker is done a little differently. I have to say, if all SSers played like them I would be lobbying stars to keep the dealt method.
