I haven't played any meaningful PLO sample size above PLO50, but at least in PLO50 and NL100-NL200 a lot of regs become ridiculous calling stations against uber-bad players. eg. not folding Q high flush 150bb deep "because he could be valuebetting worse" when he has ultra strong line (which is ~never a bluff and like 10% of the time overplaying worse hand for value)

But mostly it's just variance and selective memory, aggressive players are more likely to win or lose a lot in short period of time and
a) you remember the times they run good and ignore the times you run good against them
b) PLO micro tables are relatively full of 80vpip donks that you aren't paying too much attention to how they're doing unless they are sitting with 600bb stacks. For every one of those there's dozen droolers losing 1 or 2 buy-ins and quitting
