Heh, thanks .

Could be a lot worse, miraculously still 6k up this month despite the runbad. Profit is profit.

chuck you said if ended -16k would have been bad for br, i know you told me in past when I asked that you were referring to online roll and didn't want to deposit but is that still the case. I remember you saying you don't drop down because you think +ev in the games you play in so don't feel like should play lower but do you ever think for emotional sanity sakes it might not be a bad idea to play lower and try to book a nice steady month without these like fmlllll bridge jumping time or yay live to fight another day swings you seem to go through daily

although wouldn't be the same here without your graphs

I don't think it was me that said that, I only keep ~20k online at all times to prevent me tilting it all off. I end up redepositing a fair bit. I meant the -16k would have been bad for life roll, but not soul crushingly bad.

I did say the stuff about not dropping down, and it's partly not wanting to give up any ev, and partly just the fact that I'm on a 100k+ downswing and grinding that back at lower stakes just seems insurmountable. In the short term anyway. I remember someone speaking about as a poker player you need to try and forget about "peak net worth". But I kinda struggle with that.

That said, I have played a fair bit of zoom, which is obviously no stress as it's only .5/1 and a relatively steady profit being shown. So I think i'll try and put a fair bit of volume in there and see if I can't grind out some steady winnings for a month, as well as playing my usual games.

Second time in a couple of weeks that I pull off something like this immediately after making a cashout from Stars and having to wire back the money.

Looked through the hands for an hour wondering if I spewed in the end but couldn't find more than a buyin or so.

I think can finally post ev graph since i moved to god mode place in canada end of december although I guess I'm not in god mode anymore

kkxx started losing to aaxx and was actually losing flips finally at the peak of the graph so had to calm down a bit and re-focus

Losing 1 flip at 50/100 and winning 10 and 5/10 = no disparity between EV$.

The 5/10 and 10/20 results are o_O to say the least

You are running so good
What happened at 40k hands? You took some shots at higher limits and got lucky?
I assume before that you were playing 2-4 and lower limits.

I'm pretty sure I ran below EV during my biggest winning month, I just kept having top set in 3bet pots vs 2 guys with 2p, flopping J-high with AAJJ in as the 4bettor, etc

well done joey, kinda cool that your now beating the games up at mid stakes+ having struggled lower not so long ago, inspiring for the grinders who are struggling at 50plo-100plo

think we need a updated joeingram1 video blog tho

Y last month i lost 50k at stars midstakes and was 20k over ev.

Run bad in bet/bet/bet pots and ok when ur flipping and not getting in in dead. Rly think a 100k sample in plo is a whatever sample.

- In deep games anyway

we need a vlog/ vblog or w/e every 2 U.S. weeks (or 100k U.S hands) whichever is shorter

I think their is a few reasons why I was struggling at 50plo and 100plo, first part is I met stinger right about after lol and at some point something just clicked and became like an unknown amount better player imo, also I said back then that I always thought I did better playing vs regs when mass tabling because of tighter ranges overall for me to have to figure out instantly, i rarely ever took more then a second to make my decision. Those stakes their is sometimes 5 fish and you so their ranges can't even be defined in half a second sometimes and I would end up making wrong decision after wrong decision and obv adds up. When 1 tabling or 2 tabling can think about things for alot longer and develop reads but I played like 600k hands their without reads on anyone except a handful of regs lol and those reads where super baisc/probably unuseful most of the time, also rake is much bigger percentage wise their then 2/4+

i really don't do to many video blogs or even regular blogs right now because i don't think I have anything too new too say, playing a few hours a day, winning money, not v interesting to repeat lol, too many regular people women I know read my blog now so I had to stop talking about all the dates I went on
