lol mrw, before i even pressed play, being an american political campaigner i assumed it would be some idiot trying something stupid to get popularity and there would be a ''i'm a christian/thank god'' ect in their somewhere, caught me by surprise that it was the first line lol.

christian's/religious people in general are probably the most small minded manipulative people you will ever encounter, rick perry is a perfect example of that, he knows that the christian's control the majority vote and uses that for political gain.

people of homosexual orientation is not whats wrong with america, debt, war, wanting total control over it's citizen's freedom's,mandatory minimum sentencing, prison becoming an industry, poverty, that's whats wrong with america, the problem lies in that you don't get in control unless your small minded and appeal to the ideals of a bunch of idiots.

there's enough smart minds in america to come up with a better plan for america than ''get ****'s out of the military'' imo

Amen! Great points about republicans using religion to gain popularity. I have family that are hardcore christians and they are pretty much brainwashed by any republican candidate because republicans use god/religion/christ so much in campaigning.

I think tri deserves a ton of credit for being the first one to come up with the brilliant business idea of extremely high price point poker e-books. How many people do you think ended up buying that first $2k book he released with Cole? If only 100 people bought it, he would have made 200k in revenue, and aside from giving cts his cut of the proceeds and the value of his own time that he had to spend writing it, I imagine the other expenses had to be very low, a few k maybe.

And without knowing the content of it, I imagine most of the people who bought it got their money's worth, since they both could have coached for many hundreds/hr and 2k is nothing in the scheme of things for any mid-high stakes player. It sure as hell was a lot smarter move by him than signing up for a video training site and revealing a bunch of his secrets about his tendencies and approach to the game for 150/vid or whatever the going rate was at that time.

and yyou got a refund if you dont like it. So hes pretty sure of the quality of his content i think.

I know with a lot of newer stuff which he sells for $100-300 he offers a money-back guarantee which does to speak a lot to the quality (both in that he believes in it enough to offer that promise, and in that evidently not enough people have asked for their money back on his books so far to make it cost-prohibitive for him to be able to offer it). I am 99% sure you couldn't get a refund on that first ~2k book though, but for very good reason.

fwiw if I was coaching-scamming claiming (or speaking in a way that might be misinterpreted as) that I'm a better player than I actually am, I would definitely give money back guarantee for my coaching. People aren't gonna ask for their money back unless you are completely clueless about poker and they realize it. Didn't Jason Ho also have money back guarantee?

That's somewhat true, the fake tsjaja did that too, but with buying a book there's not that same personal connection as when you actually get 1 on 1 coaching so it wouldn't really be awkward at all for someone to ask for their money back (and in fact some % of people who do get a lot of value out of it might try to scam a refund), and if he thought that a significant percentage of his readers would be disappointed in his material I can't imagine he'd think it was a good idea to offer it.

Saw it as well. I had no idea that he was a gay either, but I dont think it was a revelation made by the movie. Only the staunch history buffs were probably aware of that.

I was pumped for the movie but thought it was a huge letdown. Really really slow.
