she should be complimented on her effort at least
the sheer attempt to go above and beyond her duties

Clearly this. Then hit her and tell her to get you another one without ice.

not sure if you're seriously asking for advice here or just wanted to share an amusing anecdote and get some funny responses, but pretty much the only correct play is in a very nice tone of voice: "thanks sweetie (or whatever affectionate name you have for her), just so you know though, beer usually isn't served with ice in it." A simple "thank you" would be ok, but then she's just gonna put the ice in next time too which would be less than ideal.

obviously fill her hair dryer with flour

then jump out and scream NEVER PUT ICE IN MY BEER EVER AGAIN!

if she gives you any gruff, then just show her who's boss

Any recs on chairs? I want to buy a nice one for 1k or less that will last me a while. I probably wont be able to sit in it beforehand. I am 6'2" 225lbs with longer than average legs for my height if that matters.

The ones I see that people generally like are aerons, steelcase leaps, freedoms. If anyone has reasons they liked/didnt like any of these Id really appreciate it

where you staying at here d2mfi?

I had the freedom for a bit but I liked/felt more comfortable in long sessions in the ikea markus chair better so stuck with that. Also tried my roomates embody but was hurting my back a bit so went back with the ikea

Go out and try them. I tried the chairs above and hated them, ended up with a Steelcase Leap which I love.

Definitely do this.

I bought an Embody and I ended up replacing it with a 200 dollar chair from Ikea.
