Not rly, i was a full time depositing degen in 2008-2009 and at the same time was reading all these PGC threads about ppl traveling around and having fun and thought i will never able to be good enough so i can exprience such fun. But with some luck and work i have managed to degen a little.

How many hours you full time job people put in on poker?

Thinking I will just grind 2 hours cash/day on top of job and grind mtts on my days off but I need to ****ing to study at home or I will fall behind on work. 10 hours of grinding cash per week will take forever to move up even if i start at plo200 but I should be able to inject my roll every month instead of having to grind, but then I miss out on rakeback with stars.

****ing it's gonna be like having a split identity, with the purpose of each occupation being in controvert.

I remember few months before going full time there was a month where i would work 8hrs and then play 8hrs of poker.
The work was not easy either, but at that time i managed to make my best month in cash, played 100k hands of NL25-50 fullring and made about $4k after rb.
Just had lots of motivation and despite being semi tired after work, managed to still play ok.
Anything is possible if you but in enough effort.
e:i actually looked up, i played 222 hours that month and i was working from 9am till 5pm, wake up 8am usually

If I were you I'd focus on work until you establish yourself there. Usually that takes 3 months. I'd put an hour two of that poker time into eating healthybfoods, recuperating and getting rest. A new job has more potential than poker currently does. The first 3 months is crucial to where you will go and how the management will perceive you. (Sorry phone sucks st typing)

Pics are only from 2 places, thailand and macau. 1 month in bangkok, had only a few sober days i think, but it was fun, then 2 weeks on different locations in thailand and 10 days in macau. I think i spent around 15k or more (thinking about it would fk up the mindset) in the last place within that 10 days and probably never going back (mby try that jump again before i die), too fancy and expensive, i like simple places and life.
ya, fun times with good friends. But this train wont stop, hopefully i will be back somewhere in SEA long term this year, well i def be, just a matter of when.
trouble is just that i suck at handling money, so i need to be quite over rolled for this to work long term, so when i black out for 2 weeks i wont go tits up. but i try hard to somewhat nit it up and change my ways
it's easy to grind here as there isn't much temptations and $ to spend on rly, but i love it too much there. i have my own apt now anyway, so there is always a place to come back to
as for the way long term future i prob have quieter plans, before poker i mostly worked at my dads company (he is a beekeper and business is doing ok), so one day i assume i would have to take that over anyway
don't have much chance in the real world (have quit school 2 times) and i dont want to either, never going to work a 9-5 in my life, unless it's in my family company where i feel like home and am mostly my own time boss anyway.
