Wazz, h.thyroidism isn't that bad in the general scheme of things, just make sure they get you on the right dose of levothyroxine so that you feel normal (can take a few weeks of adjustment).

+1 (even though I don't know you) Attitude has such a huge effect on how health issues like this affect a person. GL to keeping an awesome attitude and letting this hinder your life as little as possible. :-)

World Happiness Report

Scandis seem to be the happiest, which is kinda surprising because of the high suicide rate. Bulgaria is 147/156 which, sadly, seems about right

That happened like 10years ago, the chick is a long distance runner who was carelessly walking off after the race through the middle of the field, the guy was at the beginning of his longjump windup and as most of other guys had his head down at the start...so pretty much completely her fault, she had no bussiness being there

i actually attribute constantly losing to being too happy irl i just can't find a way to care about poker anymore. gonna have to soon enough though...

also i never wake up and say "can't wait to grind those 2/4 games today", just doesn't excite me like 25/50 does

For the first time ever I'm actually considering trying to get SNE this year - something like that would motivate you too Adi.

Its miserable but at the end of it you will have the kind of roll where you can start taking shots at 10/20 and 25/50 again depending on how well it goes, maybe even higher.

Once you got it - its not going to be that hard to maintain too and you got a ton more benefits... seems kinda appealing.

I already want to kill myself thinking about the number of hands you have to play though

I had the same thoughts gav. I think I managed 2 days in a row making 4k+ vpp. The thought of doing that every 2 out of 3 days for a whole year darked me out.

If you want to make it, it is way easier if you find a 2nd game. If you for example play 100 500$ 6max turbo sitngo's each month, you will have 165.000 VPP's at the end of the year. So for a very small volume of play you already have 16,5% of your goal. If you also play some 1k's it even go's faster. Other disciplines that would go really fast are hu sitngo's, high stakes limit, or just the good old 50-100 plo games. Or for example, play lots of super turbo sattelites to the high stake SCOOP tourneys. If you can manage to play those a lot with a buyin of between 300$-2k, you can easily make 250k vpp's in one month. Just have to learn how to play those almost break even:P

My brothers applying for scholarships at colleges in america, as hes good at golf. He got a free ride offer at this baptist college thats D1 and is pretty highly ranked for golf. However, hes not religious and wants to have fun with partying and all that. Does anyone have any info about how serious these type of colleges are about the religion side?

there's no way i could ever make sne, i suck at multi tabling and i never have put in that many hours. also i couldn't stay away from highstakes for a whole year, **** that.

i just need a couple of weeks of being in the zone and it'll all be good again, just taking longer to come around than it usually does. i'm not too worried about it.

I am sure the info is available on the internet, but most likely it is just as good if not better than a normal college for partying. Also, which other colleges or major city are nearby is pretty key.
