Prefer vinegar/citrus/spicy to the mass of mayoie mess that KFC et al produce.
20-25 years ago, I remember having a meal at the Seattle airport, the fish market, I think? Their slaw had slivers of pickled ginger (like you get with sushi) in it, and it was excellent. First time I can ever recall enjoying slaw on the side.
