anyone else grow up knowing canned biscuits (think Pillsbury) as wop biscuits?
has nothing do to with Italy and everything to do with wopping them on the counter to open the tube.

I think I recall them being called whop biscuits, as in getting "whopped upside the head."

I don't think I ever heard "wop" until I was in college. If I heard it before that, I had no idea what it meant.

I like both Prime Rib and Ribeye, but when they're both cooked properly, both are great.

Prime Rib on a buffet is not good IMO.

Cool. Also recommend the buttermilk version. And while im generally not a fan of shortening, using that with the butter seems to make them a little fluffier.

I thought it was short for Copper, as the badge was made out of copper. At least I thought so. I watched this show about Irish cops in the Bowery during the Civil War called Copper.

ha - I made it 2 days ago - I don't think I'd want the chickpeas in that recipe, but the red onions would be good. I used cherry tomatoes too. Mine tasted good, but eggs got over cooked. I'd like to try it again, but downsize it as it's too much (I had 5 eggs) for one person, and you can't save it.
