I order a diet coke in a restaurant. Rather than bring me a fountain diet coke that I'll have refilled 1-2x during the meal I get brought a 12 oz can poured into a glass. Tastes inferior and I won't order refills on principle

Tons of places. Lots of small ethnic places. Lots of medium-nice restaurants, though a lot of times that's a bottle not a can.

B) An actual broke student who needs to develop an app showing which restaurants have free refills, and then make enough money to not leave ****ty tips because he/she/it does not understand how independent restaurants work

I understand the reasoning behind it, hence why it shouldn't piss me off and it belongs itt. It still annoys me though.

I would never leave a ****ty tip based on something no fault of the server like that - I've worked in service before. This happened last night at a sushi restaurant and I tipped 25% because the service was excellent.

What sushi bar has free soda in New York City though? There has to be an app already to find such places.

Same concept with mixed drinks at a corporate restaurant or bar. I need to drink about 20 of them to get a good buzz. Stick to beer and wine which they can't water down.

When I'm doing something like buying a new cell phone/renting a car/checking in at a goddamn indoor waterpark and after I tell them I won't want any extra insurance, don't want any accessories, don't want to hear about all of the features of the water park, and they respond with something like "are you sure? Because feature X is so awesome because yada yada yada."

Alternately, I LOVE it when I get a guy who actually understands that I want to get this transaction done as quickly as possible and move on with my life, and if I really want to discuss any of the details of it, I will initiate that talk from my end.

Tbh, sometimes they can be forced to ask that crap by management. I frequently visit a gas pump around the corner and she has to sell like counter bonus items or whatever, I askef her once and she said she had to ask me, she has stopped asking me since (when her manager is not here).
